Great program, great jumps, although the music is way too serious/boring imho... especially for an EX.

Also, this may be just a visual impression, but she seems to have been developed physically (no, I'm not calling her fat :laugh: I think this is a good thing)

She likes "storytelling", she likes to do what others do not. I think this choice was made to show how unique she is among the skaters with La-la-land like programs

She has done plenty of upbeat & fun ex programs (more than most other singles ladies), and according to certain GSers she should not be allowed to skate to such "juvenile" programs. :rolleye: I appreciate the fun programs, but I also like to see some variety. The fact is that she can never please everyone. A program is either too campy or juvenile for her or too mature, according to the critics. She's 17, it's an age when most people are still trying new things to develop their own personal style. What exactly should she be skating to? I'm just glad she doesn't go the most boring route of skating to current overplayed pop ballads. I like the concept of this program...it was the first performance, so I'm sure it can be developed further.

I agree.

I almost never see anyone compliment her for doing different Exhibitions all the time, but it's really something that makes her stand out.

Yes!

And how many other skaters did five different exhibition programs last season...?
Or four the season before that?
Or even just two, the season before that?!

So many different types of music, character and choreography. Her versatitlity is incredible...
 
I thought the choreography was very beautiful and tells the story of Anna Karenina (if you read it). And agree that the critics need to stop criticizing. She had done many ex-programs from the romantic/playful Parole to the cute Vogue and the famous of all Sailor Moon, so give her a break and let her explore.

I think it has to do with the length of her skirt. With the shorter lenght you can avtuslly see the muscles of her thigh, it even made her look taller. I think this is perfect lenght of skirt for her becuase ususlly her skirts are longer and just above the knee.
