Yes, like, puffy? Soft? Like when you poke something squishy it makes the sound 'mochimochi.' The sound of your heart beating is 'dokidoki.' At least in manga and stuff. You can find some of them here.

Like what Latremu has said, it's indeed amusing that the things to describe him are all associated with food!:laugh:

I guess as long as he's skating so much and burning 8 calories per minute, he can pretty much eat whatever meat he wants! Probably the protein is good for him, and I think he likes dairy products which he certainly needs for the calcium. He may have to change his habits as he gets older. Oh well, hopefully he is enjoying himself now. We know he won't be joining "Vegetarians Unite" any time soon! :love:

ETA - Just noticed, this is the 5,000th post in the Shoma kun thread! Hooray for Shomita! :hap10: :party2:

Yet again, he has to stand on a chair to be seen! Anything to get into the frame! :laugh2: I love this guy, seriously.

I think mochimochi is a fitting description for him/his hands- soft, squishy, and sweet. :agree: By the way, will The ICE have a broadcast?

Yes! The first one (highlights from Osaka) will be tomorrow 4 PM - 5:25 PM UTC+09 on local channel Fuji TV Kanto, so unfortunately there won't be a stream available.

The 2nd one (highlights from Nagoya) will be shown on Chukyo TV on Saturday, August 19 at 1:30 PM - 2:55 PM UTC+09.

The full broadcast of the Nagoya show is scheduled for September 3 at 00:55 JST, also on Chukyo TV. For another one, which will be shown on Nittele Plus the date has yet to be announced.


I'm sure some kind soul will upload videos afterwards! :)
 
Thank you, synesthesia! Good catch too on the absence of Shoma in the takoyaki eating picture! 😂 At least he's consistent (beef only, everyone!). I'm glad there are many kind souls, August 19 seems so far away. By the way, isn't that around the time Shoma's returning to Chicago? Just a thought.

I've also taken a chance and bought tickets to Worlds! Hopefully it'll all work out. I'm not that interested in watching the Ice Dance competition, does anyone know what's the best way to sell those tickets?
 
:bow: Now I know for certain that Shomajesty eats something other than the dreaded beef. Here he is at Legal Seafood in Boston eating lobster. I had seen the photo of him smiling at the lobster (with the big pile of broccoli in front of him) but never this one of him eating it -- and we know how they LOVE to show him actually eating. Latremu you can try to sell your ice dance tickets in the FOR SALE section here on the forum. When you open up GS, the For Sale topic is listed below the Fan Fests topic. That's how I bought my Sk Can tickets. As a matter of fact, I bought them from a lady in Japan -- probably a Yuzu fan who didn't want to make the trip when she heard he wouldn't be there. I think tomorrow's broadcast is actually available online (on FujiTV, channel 006). I am there right now, and I do see 'The Ice' scheduled at 4. :)
Anyway, I am sure someone will upload the video eventually.
