Their FD is Spartacus.

Averbukh says they look good together on the ice (He did a stage with them working on the FD), although of course they are still inexperienced and won't be in contention for the two places on the Olympic team. But he thinks, if they work hard together, there is potential for them in the next Olympic cycle.

SD - for just two months together, I'm impressed. The rumba pattern and twizzles were good, TAT was right about the lifts. Obviously there's a lot to do on speed, unison and skating closer together (which will then help with posture, because at time's Anton's was... not great). They do seem to suit each other!

https://rsport.ria.ru/figure_skating/20170909/1125460761.html Lena says they are glad to be skating together, and they have set themselves high goals, even though some people will think it's impossible. It's important to show the best at the test skates, which is why they are doing full programs, even though it's not as ready as she would like.

Good to see Elena has a promising new partnership with this very cute guy named Shibnev. They really look good together.

I am impressed. That program had flow. Promising. I hope they keep on working together, really like what I see.

I like what I see and moreover they really look good together. Lift is good and the twizzles also and there is a spark. A lot of work ahead but a good start. One more video:

Exactly my impression. I think they suit each other really well, there is something there, and I like their mentality, there is something natural, and they look expensive together if there is even such an expression

Too bad their FD is not finished because what they showed there was really awesome and a lot of promise. A lot to improve but very hopeful with this team. I bet if they get their programs down they can get the host pick spot in Restrlecom

As much as I like Ruslan, I think Elena needs another partner, a strong man who suits her personality better.
I think Ruslan has a girlfriend and maybe he is not focused enough.

I wrote this a few months ago, I was right!

They are born the same year, I thought Anton was like 17... Very happy with this partner, glad I didn't change my name as someone suggested :yes2:
His partner was Morozov's wife, you can't make this sh*t up...

Their FD is finished but they decided to let the dance spin out, it was planned. I guess everyone needs a bit more than two months skating together to do a competitive runthrough for the first time together. I'm really pleased too, big elements, a lot of promise

I just saw parts of their FD and I am happy. I cant decide what I like more and what will be their strongest element - the lifts or the twizzles. I guess I will choose for now the lifts cause they look really classy and with difficult positions. They have a whole what of work to do but comparing what they present for 2 months and where are teams with history, they will surely make it. I cant wait to see the whole program skate enriched with transitions and all and choreographic moments and music highlights and all other goodies.

The lifts are great and the twizzles go so well with the music! But still LOTS to be done on the step sequences.

I think it went quite well for a team a little over 2 months old. Speed needs to pick up- natural as they are still adjusting. The lifts are secure and innovative.

superb twizzles! only shibutanis have prettier ones (and c/l when they are on). he's much better than i thought he'd be. she looked more polished than she's looked for the last 2-3 years. this made me hopeful.

Reportedly they have moved to work with Alexei Gorshkov (former coach of Domnina/Shabalin, Riazanova/Tchakencho). He also worked with them when they had just formed as a couple. Could be a good move - not sure who else he is coaching at the moment, but I don't think he's got any senior teams so they'll be getting a lot of attention.

He is coaching Konkina/Yakushev and Ushakova/Nekrasov in Juniors. Both were very successful in this year's JGP and one of them might qualify for the JGPF.

I remember this article and found out the link.
No sure if it is a good move. There are better coaches in Russia though.
