Yuzuru Hanyu: 2017-2018

Honestly, when I read his answer "so-so" in this morning, I felt there was something.

From the same news paper, Yomiuri.

"Yuzu has been having a little pain in his right knee since last week and he was taking the rest. It's not a big problem but I decided to make the programs a little bit simpler in this first competition."(Orser)

I personally don't mind quadless programs from him but wait for his comments after the practice. Take care, Yuzuru!!

its not even GP event but i am already nervous :dbana:i hope its not serious, there and there is still time till his 2st GP so he can heal properly

i hope i can stay sane until end of this season

Oh gosh😢 I was so excited to watch him competing again and now I'm really worried. I guess if he didn't WD it's because is nothing serious but... I don't want him to get really hurt. I can't wait to watch the first practice... The nerves! 😵

His injury is not a good news to start my morning with :sad21:

I just hope he really takes it easy and doesn't put any pressure on himself, wait it doesn't sound like Yuzuru Hanyu at all :(

I don't think Hanyu will do no quad, I think he will just reduce the number of quads. He can handle 2-3 quads I think. I hope he will be healthy. This is just senior B, it doesn't worth to do push himself. His landing knee is very important.

Hopefully it's nothing serious and his recovery will be smooth. He knows the importance of staying healthy this season so I trust him and his team on this aspect. Do we know at what time does practice begin?
In other news, the Olympic Gold Medal for Pyeonchang has been revealed. I wonder if he will use it as wallpaper for his phone again

This is legit scary because at this point we know that his team has concealed injuries before. So whenever something like this comes up I can't help but worry that it's worse than what they are saying. I do think though that Yuzu has learned his lesson from 2016 worlds and will pace himself very carefully. I know that it's different with younger athletes but I'm not impressed by the recklessness of Shoma's team, not to mention Nathan training the quad loop after his hip fracture. Making it to the Games in top form should be their first priority so let's not get too caught up in early season competitions. Better to be tentative here than pushing through pain and exhaustion on the day.

Man, I feel my heart skip a beat when he answer "so-so" to the question...
Mr. Orser mention at the media day, there will be times he have to held Yuzu back during the season, I didn't expect that early in the season. :palmf:

Good morning, I' watching practice now and I see Tracy and Mr. Kikuchi at the board :)

So the watered down layout that Orser mentioned was skipping the 4lz,and still doing the 3 quads in the second half? Well:drama:
BTW I love the Stsq:love:

rewatched run trough, that;s definitely quad lutz placeholder, it's the same preparation he was doing during previous quad lutz attempts

4lz 4lo 3F / 4S3T 4T-1lo-3S 4T 3A2T 3A

there will be 2x3A still ;)

Yes, nothing unexpected, that's exactly what we thought post-media day.

I hope he keeps those triples for ACI. He was also checking his knee periodically, so hopefully all is good there.

According to the reports, he was doing 3F, 3Lo, 3Ltz, 3A, eagle-3A2A, 4T3T(tano, beautiful), 4S-eagle (beautiful), 3Lo, 4Lo (beautiful),4T,3A

I'm sorry, I edited 4T3A to 4T3T!
