Wow, that twist was money for K/I. major mistakes on both sbs... it looks like she has(or at least rotating?) triples, so thats good.
They did 4 twist and 3sal-1/2-3sal combo jump. also 3T jump
So Kvartalova/Sviatchenko lost their 2nd spot. :sad21: And it would be Pavliuchenko/Khodykin, Poluianova/Sopot and Kostiukovich/Ialin at last event.[/QUOTE
Does anyone have the results for the FS and the OVERALL please and thank you!

This seems to happen with all Russian pairs in the last few years. Atakhanova/Spiridonov, Mishina/Mirzoev and Borisova/Sopot also seemed to be great in their first season, and had some problems in their second season. Each of them different problems, for example M/M had problems with their relationship rather than with skating, B/S had problems with jumps (Borisova was coping with consequences of her ilness plus added puberty. Not sure what exactly were A/S’s problems, if it was her injury, or if they were just headcases. Nevertheless, all three pairs followed the same path - splitting up in or after the second competitive season. Let’s hope that Boykova/Kozlovski won’t follow the same path. They had first season great and second season is getting more difficult. It would probably help if the media weren’t trying to make such a big deal if a junior pair starts winning competitions. Coming to their second year with so many expectations on their shoulders is definitely not helping. Let’s hope it will get easier now when there is several pairs that won their events.A 3rd JGP, a 3rd different Russian winner but the Russian couple that I expected to be this seasons front runner is not among them. I like both of B/K's programmes but they have not be at 100% so far. They are still scoring and placing well so I think when they deliver there programmes as planned they will score big. They could be under pressure to make the JGPF
I enjoyed both of K/I's skates. The quad twist was amazing, so high and airy and caught very early. While they had falls, the jumps were fully rotated so they still scored well. I'm not convinced of this couples long term future, she is tiny, if she grows at all I can see all elements suffering. I liked the Chinese programme they skated it well, I think they expected more and seemed a bit disappointed with their score.
I was very disappointed for K/S. They looked nervous starting off. They were nowhere near the quad twist and they lost foucs for a while after that but they pulled it back at the end. They have a real quality and while I am bored of Exogensis at this point, their programme works for me
Roll on next week.
The split may have created stronger pairs, but at this stage we don’t know how those pairs will be in their second season. I will enjoy them while it last, but last few years taught me that only tiny percentage will make it. But even if only let’s say one in four or one in five pairs made it, the numbers of good pairs guarantee that there will be some successful ones moving to seniors within a few years.Personally, I think that the split has gone to their advantage. It is very difficult to find a suitable partner for the first time. It is better to do it in juniors than in seniors. They got experience and made conclusions. Borisova / Sopot and in the debut season there were problems with jumps, and with the puberty it got worse, she never jumped triple. Now Sopot skates with Poluyanova and has already received somewhere around 161 points, this is much more than the best result of Poluyanov / Selkin (somewhere 140) and better than the result of B / S in their 1st stage. Mishina / Gallyamov also has good scores, good relations, everything is ahead of them. Stages this year did not receive Lyirova / Selkin and Mirzoev with his new partner.
