Awww. Before the director switched to the rink camera to give a cleaner background for showing us the start order, did you see one of the staff directing the skaters into position for a group photo?

I wonder if that is done before every group. It's a nice idea.

Why don't they do the presentation of the skaters at the start of the Warm-Up here like they do at the Senior GP's? I liked that. Makes it easier to know who is who during the Warm-Up.

Ach, I just noticed that they're doing this stupid draw thing here too instead of reverse SP results order.

Well, at least the partnerships that were 8th to 3rd in the SP are starting in the correct order (i.e. #9 to #14). So, at least the competition will be easy to follow when they come on. But apart from them, it is going to be a nightmare to follow.

Whoever thought it would be a good idea to ditch the reverse SP results order needs a good kick up the backside!

Sitkova/Kubacak might be getting some company in Juniors next season from a baby pair moving up from Novices - Heckova/Valky who will be in their third season together

It really, really gets to me.

It's difficult enough for casual fans (or even the not-so-casual fans) to understand how the programmes are scored, never mind making it more difficult for them to follow what is happening in the competition by having the skaters go in a mixed up order.

Is it any wonder that the sport is not as popular as it used to be, with user-unfriendly decisions like this?

And is it any wonder that I prefer to watch the Senior B's rather than ISU run events? At least they have the sense to keep the reverse SP results order. You mightn't be as familiar with the skaters, but at least you know what is happening in the competition.

The Hungarians have one more season in Juniors, but will have to move up in the Olympic season. Hopefully, they'll be able to use that one season well.

But, I see their ISU Bio doesn't list her height, so we don't know just how tiny she is. He's 188cm (6ft 2in).
