2017-18 State of Russian Ladies skating

konstantinova skated a lot faster, than at jgp. she's still not worthy of a junior team, but i'm actually don't mind if they send her to olympics or senior worlds, instead of pogorilaya, sotskova or radionova. on the current senior field she is somewhat competitive

Are you joking? lol :)))

It's so nice to see. I just want to cry and ....does she have the best Rippon jump out there? Wowzerz! :eeking:

What a great program too. The spins, jumps and steps were on point! The real test will be in the FreeSkate but at least there is some hope again. That 2a looks like she may have success in fixing it.

 for Sima!!!

Yeees, I wanna see more of Sima.... this means she really is a great skater

Yeah, at one moment I was thinking that is good, when judges give bonus for beautiful and unique spins. But give bonus for these average and definitely not beautiful spins? Ugh.

I admit I'm baffled by this bonus thing. I don't see anything that the skaters are getting out of that. There's no such thing on an international level, and if it is a good spin/element just give it good GOEs and spare everyone of having to reduce the numbers. Odd.

no, i'm not:unsure: i just don't believe that anna will return to her previous shape. but of course i'll prefer pogorilaya at her peak to konstantinova anyday.
i have my hopes for polina, for the third spot. she's my absolute favorite. but again, i'm not sure how she will be looking throughout the season

Polina is the most elegant girl today. That performance was like poetry.
Amazing jumps! She should be 1st!
