Because no federation wants its best skaters to fight against each other in one GP event. These skaters are distributed so that they have more chances to win their GP events and get into GPF.

BTW, for Junior GP finals Ladies, five Russian and one Japanese skater qualified, sign the Russian federation calculated well how to maximize their skaters chances to get into the Finals. JGPF Ladies will be like Russian Nationals plus one "guest" from Japan.

Funny the girl before Evgenia today (Mirai Nagasu) skated on the same music.

Also, looking at all the competitors in today's SP, the difference between Evgenia and the others was quite big. Very nice program overall :agree:

As a pretty new fan of the skating world, it's beyond me how can people "hate" on 16-18 year old boys/girls, or even older.

Like LOL, ok I may not like the programs of certain skaters, but hating the actual skater? Uhm... why?

Medvedeva's the most frustrating skater to hate, I'm sure. Most others will at least sometimes have bad programs or dark moments that you can jump on but she's really got almost nothing like that. Too consistent.

I don't know why we can't all just remain classy. There are skaters I don't like but I don't go on youtube videos bashing them and whatnot. I don't even like writing bad things about them on MY twitter cause I know their fans will see them & i don't wanna be rude. We should all just chill.
