2017 GP Internationaux de France Pairs SP

Definitely something worth posting in The Edge section too. For a short answer, it's the difficulty of getting two people to match in entry, in air position, and in exit for a triple that's already quite difficult for most skaters, let alone doing it in perfect sync with another person with a different body type and rhythm. In fact, it's surprising to me that they don't make the sbs triples worth more in pairs.
I agree, side by side and throw should get higher BV in pair.

Ok darlings, I don't want you to skate in shows, I want you to skate in competitions!

Thanks for your insight - will post over there as well!

Oh I love Lubov, Dylan & Phil Collins. Decent skate under difficult conditions. Hope the judges are kind.

Well, the live results page is still broken...
Says that we're in the warm-up still...

Ilyushechkina / Moscovitch

I'm really into this music choice for this team; their energy built and intensified with the heavy drum beats at the end of the Phil Collins odyssey. Dylan was a bit tilted in the air on the sbs 3T so he had a rough landing, and the throw 3Lz had a tap down for her foot. Their step sequence was very long, but it fit the music very well, and they had good speed through the spin.
