2017 GP Internationaux de France Ladies FS

I want Alina and Elizabet to do the best they can! Go Masha, you rock! Kaetlyn is on fire this season again. Good for her. Ladies are my last fave discipline, but I'm gonna enjoy this!

Did this announcer guy just say Yuna was 2nd at junior worlds last year? Is he confusing her with Marin?:palmf: She was 5th.

The right to what? No one has personally attacked her. We've critiqued her skating, which she chose to put out there. She's an adult. No one forced her to come to this GP when she must have known she can't jump anymore. Moreover many of us have complimented her packaging me included. It's not our fault her program was terrible.

But it's been constantly like this for years now, and I'm annoyed because I've liked Polina since the moment I saw her compete her short program at Nationals in 2014. You can't get better at competing unless you compete.

I didn't see any particularly cruel comments about Polina. Compared to the nitpicking and nasty comments that the Russian ladies get, all the rest get off pretty easy.

All skaters get critique. So what?
I mean, if you take all stuff that people say about Alina ans Osmond, for example, it is way less friendly

I lurk so yes, I've been here for the Med comments. I don't really like Med's programs or choreography, but I respect that she's usually consistent and I don't know who else would win, so I've kinda accepted that Med is the gold standard these days.

I really am puzzled that you think people are harder on Polina than other skaters. I mean some people are not kind but that doesn't mean they are persecuting her. People don't have to be kind to anyone. One of the very first thing anyone famous should know in this day and age is not to google themselves.
She didn't skate well and she was slow. I think she'd even say that.

Mai’s dress reminds me a bit of Michelle Kwan’s dress in her short at the 1995 world championships in England for some reason- at least the top part!

That magic pat "you go girl" thing get me all the time.

Decided to torture myself and get up at 5AM on a Saturday morning for skating after a rough Friday night. :hopelessness:

Internationaux don't fail me now. :drama:
