I though the livestream was a little out of sync (Deniss would never be so far ahead of the music!) and so it was. This video is HD too. Great stuff :agree:

Edit: I have to add ladies medal ceremony because the livestream deprived us of some golden moments :laugh: What a gentleman, always there to assist those in need ;)

Just in case anyone hasn't bothered to click on to see the ladies medal ceremony.... the golden moments involve these. I assure you, it's too precious to miss!!
1. Deniss comes onto the ice to take some piccies of Diana (around 03:49 mark). He notices a lady slipping and falling just behind him, he turns around and offers her a helping hand.
2. After taking the pics, he escorts the same lady off the ice to her safety. (around 04:56)
3. for an additional bonus, Stephane's flower waving performance during the Italian anthem. (around @6:08)
 
What a chivalrous young man he is! Yes, it was a very successful weekend for their team, and they clearly seem to have built a very positive, family-like atmosphere. Everyone is improving together and they still have plenty of fun. :) I think there is little doubt now that Diana will get the ladies' spot for Latvia in Pyeongchang. So exciting!
 
CoT FS practice video. I could watch Deniss glide around in his practice gear all day.
I think from about 18:00-26:20 is work on quad salchow, then FS runthrough, practicing choreo, then back to 4S, 3A, 3T.
Also part of the video is muted because of copyright.

Thanks for this, I love it, I watched through it all (on fast forward :laugh:), and after Deniss run-through at 32.50, it looks to me like Stephane is explaining to him that the part during Sway where he runs to the audience doesn't work with no audience, it looks to me like he demonstrates to him the turn that Deniss did during his FS, no? :luv17:

In fact I have watched a full practice for the first time (I mean any skater practice) and this has been very interesting experience. Their student-coach interaction is so likeable! Also the moment when they are changing the choreography what YuzuOnIce mentions. But I am scared to death watching jump practice (especially after what happened to Yuzu, Daniel and Adam recently). Each and every jump seems to be so dangerous :sad14:
 
I wanted to come here today and applaud Deniss and Stephane for always having so much going on in each of Deniss's programs. His Lion King Ex has so many great transitions and small gestures/movements! Even when Deniss skates to music that isn't my favorite, I find myself engrossed in whatever he is doing on the ice. This also means that jump mistakes, while unfortunate, do not destroy my enjoyment of his programs. Bravo!!!!! :clap: :love:
 
Today something very unexpected happened to me! I was on the same plane as Staphane, Deniss and Diana. I asked them for a photo and they were very nice :) I assume they came for Latvian championships

I'm home just for four days, so unfortunately I don't have time to come both days, but I'll go to see FS! I saw that it's only Deniss competing in senior men, quite sad for Latvian figure skating.. But I want to see what happens in Ladies field, because now I'm not sure it's Angelina who's going to the Olympics.

I hope Deniss has a good performance for his family and Latvian fans, without the competitive pressure.
