Yuzuru Hanyu: 2017-2018

Yes, we call that kind of event "talk show" in general :)

Some celebrities might do games with fan, but with Yuzu, it seems unlikely? His management team are protective and respect Yuzu’s own will, and Yuzu himself is always aware that he is an athlete, not an idol.

So I've just watched a interview of Javi on a spanish radio, and he brought good news! He said that Yuzu is already recovered, and that both of them are training, that right now he is OK. Ahhh finally!:yahoo:

OMG!!! So happy to know Yuzu is already recovered.:hap93:

That sounds fun! This is going to be his first talk show for the fans, so I have no idea besides he will talk A LOT, maybe if the fans request him to do some posing or dancing, he might do it for them? Actually it's great he and his fans have this kind of opportunity because after Sochi Olympics, it got more difficult to communicate each other. He was participating in Prince Ice World before and he did take a lot of time for the fans kindly :)

It would be so cute if he could played some games with fans, like a fan meeting of sorts :p

Yude, I am praying for you to win the lottery and get to the talk show, so that we could hear some content form you ~ :hap85:

Oh, thank you!! :thank: Fortunately, one of the movie theaters is about an hour from where I live, so I'm also thinking of applying for the live viewing there. Fingers crossed!

Hi all!
We made this video not about only Yuzuru's but about the FS of the 8 top men (following the ranking at the end of last season and first part of this season) about crossovers and one-foot skating: https://youtu.be/3qlpTMObg9A

I post it here because looking at these data to me was also more clear - if possible - what Yuzu is putting out in his skate in term of difficuty and complexity of the transitions between an element and an other, considering his layout too. And also more in comparison to the others.

Thank you for posting! I love that Yuzuru appears last like a boss :agree:

Just to make the timeline clear for you guys. That interview with Javi was made on Dec 20th when he had a big press day in Madrid. It was only published on Jan 2 and the presenters were actually trying to make it sound as if it was made then - but by that time Javi had been in Toronto for some days (he said in another interview that he go back on the 27th and his own social media recorded him spending the New Year in Canada with his GF).

So, that statement about Yuzu being back on ice and training only confirms what was rumoured already back in mid-December, but does not give any new information on Yuzu's progresssince then. Sorry!

I've come across this article in twitter:
https://www.nytimes.com/2018/01/04/...egion®ion=bottom-well&WT.nav=bottom-well&_r=0
The title was wonderful but after reading I started to have this uncomfortable feeling, this worry about Yuzuru, whether he is going to be 100% healthy in OG. I don't know maybe this bad feeling comes from watching US nationals and being under the Nathan Hype for almost 4 hours  Anyways, I'm praying for the return of the King and hoping for the best :points:

It's a bit werid seeing the title "The Greatest Figure Skater Ever Is Michael Jackson on Ice, Surrounded by Winnie the Poohs" and the photo next to that is Yuzu skating to Prince's "Let's go Crazy" program~~

It's actually better than the title they changed it to for the print edition this past Sunday, "Icon Stumbles on Road to Perfection". I'm not even sure how this title fits the article given what the original title was and the actual contents. Although none of this stopped me from asking my friend in NY to grab a copy for me. Such a large story on Yuzu in a US paper is rare.
