Yuzuru Hanyu: 2017-2018

So NBC has an online profile of Yuzuru here.
Small typo but he is marked as having won two Olympic Gold Medals.
Don't worry, NBC, we fully support this

Oh, someone please show Yuzu this, I guess he will fire up immediately, to visualise his goal before he get there :hap85:

NBC has not fixed that golden typo yet

Anyways, here is an article about Ajinomoto.

https://www.daily.co.jp/olympic/2018/01/24/0010923520.shtml

Ajinomoto supports Japanese athletes at the site of Pyeongchang Olympics as they did in the past. As for Yuzuru, they supported him individually from the summer of 2013 to Sochi Olympics, and they started supporting him again from September of 2016. They have been to international competitions together and provided meal plans following the competition schedules.

I think I saw the Ajinomoto staff in Helsinki, one was carrying something that looked like it could be a cooler b

it's still undecided but I can't really say I'm surprised.
Nothing surprises me anymore:palmf:

No more JSF special assignment?

"It was just a treat to see his smiling face", we know that feeling :luv17: I am so glad he says he feels better and is happy, that's the most important thing. I guess he is training full time right now, with the Olympics a couple of weeks away. I am really curious as to if he will choose to do both programs at the team event.

I was just about to share PJ's podcast with Shae-Lynn :).

Really worth a listen and very interesting.

There was an article about opening ceremony of the Olympics in Yomiuri newspaper today. Pyeongchang Olympic stadium has no roof and the lowest temperature on Feb. 9 last year was 12.2 degrees below zero. The ceremony is from 8 pm to 10 pm and Organizing Committee will prepare the blankets and hats for the audience, and they will also place about 40 heaters and 5 medical stations near the stadium.

The more I read it, the more I doubt if Yuzuru participates in it...

Considering the risk of catching a cold and possible asthma triggers, I am now hoping he doesn't. Negative 12 degrees, geesh.

Edit: And this was my 5000th post. I am amused but happy it ended up being in Yuzuru's thread, even if it was not a particularly cracker of a post.

I heard it’s been about -25 in Pyeongchang.

I don’t think I want to pay that much to become a popsicle.

Any fans want a an olympic men’s SP ticket, Category C? I’ve got an extra (it’s a physical ticket so I would have to meet you in Korea). Willing to give a Yuzu fan discount for $125.
