Jason Brown

Jason and Max were the sweetest----propping Shoma in the green room. Jason is the best cheerleader for skating ever! The piano program is my favourite and am so glad he podium-ed last night!
 
Not sure if you said that already but... do we know why did he change his FS back to The Piano? Don't get me wrong, I LOVE IT, but I also liked this year's FS, so I was wondering about that change. Thx in advance :)
 
I'd love to see something like a "Masters Division" for skaters over 25, with different scoring rules that value artistry over technical prowess (read: quads). That would extend a lot of careers, and be a form of the sport that's more accessible to the average person.

AFAIK, Jason hasn't said.

My uninformed speculation: he never felt comfortable with Inner Love, he tried to do too much too soon, and it affected his confidence at Nats. So, if everyone else can go back to their comfort zone, why not Jason.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.:)
 
The best sports weekend EVER continues! Golden State Warriors just pulled off an nailbitting win against the Boston Celtics. I'm just going to assume that Jason's skating is responsible for this amazing streak of amazing sports things. :laugh:

Now I just need Roger Federer to finish the streak and win the final tomorrow!!

I am so glad Jason finally put out an SP and FS he was proud of this season!! And that he landed the miserable triple loop. And he finally was on a ISU championship podium, especially in a competition where there were so many fine performances!

Jason's 4CC Gala performance is currently my favorite thing to watch until my eyes bleed. There's something special about this performance that speaks to me. He put his heart and soul into it and it's totally captivating. :love:

I love it too! It's seriously my favorite of Jason's gala programs. Did you see that Benj Pasek commented on Jason's latest IG post? Except he used one of those new emojis and I haven't upgraded my iOS so I have no idea what he actually said lol.

Also side note, I listened to The Greatest Showman soundtrack( by the Pasek/Paul) and I think there could be a good program for Jason in there.

In case you missed the news on the U.S. men's thread, Jason's going to be in Grant Hochstein's wedding this summer (along with Tarah Kayne and Danny O'Shea)!

I saw the ISU quick quotes yesterday, but "in" the wedding didn't dawn on me until now; that should be a good time.:)

Although less known, Grantoline also have a dog, Kingston. So maybe Jason wasn't trolling, but maybe just acknowledging the critter he was more comfy with? That, and I believe I saw somewhere on social media that Grant had prepared a poster for Tarah and Danny "Make Snow proud", Snow being their white fluffy dog.

Around so many animal folks, Jason will need to borrow Hamilton the dog more often:biggrin:

They sound similar to the quick quotes that the ISU got. Maybe the fan club got the quotes from the Japanese media that were there? The GS recap, for example, had a few extra quotes that weren't in the ISU quotes summary. This sounds like there were a few additional quotes here too...so hopefully Specs or someone can come in and help out. :)
