2017-18 State of Russian Ladies skating

Such a hospitality and a warm welcome from Japan! I can't imagine anyone else making such a welcome party for your main rival and wishing them to show their best on the competition. :)

The nuts! My favourite kind of chocolate :luv17:

Is it known outside Russia? I just found out that it's even mentioned in the English Wikipedia. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Krasny_Oktyabr_(confectionery_brand)#Alyonka

P.S. Can we stop politicking here, please? Preferably, along with using that "OAR". :)

Some recent posts have been deleted from this thread. Please stick to the thread topic. This is not the place to argue about OAR vs. RUS, about doping, or about athletes in other sports and disciplines.

Thank you.

Is there a list of who the winners are from Russian junior nationals? In English?
Has it been decided who is going to junior worlds?

ZOMFG!! :dbana:

Love the hype in Japan...I will never forget the class and respect they gave to Yulia. She was twice Mao’s main competitor for events held in Japan (GPF and WC) and she received standing ovations in spite of it.

Glad to see the love of the sport is alive and strong. Hopefully it helps fuel the girls.....and those cute mascots...:dbana:

Yes, but I suppose if he is with Moris and part of the Georgian delegation, will not be able to take part at the team competition, for example.

I don't think it will be a problem. Moris and girls are used to travel and compete together at the same competitions.

no. it's not going to be a problem.
Because there'll be a lot of coaches who train skaters from different countries.

Does this mean that he will have accreditation as a coach/member of the Russian team for all events, including the team event?
I don't think you can walk at the Olympics (as an official) as you're at your home.

he doesn't need it. One accreditation is enough.

I didn't know Eteri isn't training Medvedeva L anymore. I'm a bit sad about it. Can anyone tell me why she left Eteri?
