I can't believe we haven't seen a second of video of their practices. It's like some kind of embargo is on. Hanyu's and V/M's practices are all over the net.

Same as in the GPF, so not a first at least. In that small clip (you can watch with a VPN), they look calm and collected and we just get a small glimpse of the curved lift from the FD. Costumes look the same.

The final flight is three-fifths Gadbois teams. I suspect they'll all feel quite at home! :)

Seriously, it seems like a good place for them to me. Neither first nor last, and they're not serving as a point of comparison for their closest competition - if anything it's the other way around. They'll be fine.

I've been around long enough to know that fans don't equal skaters. Both V/M and P/C have horrible fans. I've seen enough nonsense just on youtube vids to know that PC fans aren't any better. I'd never wish for someone to lose just because they're unfortunate enough to have idiots as fans.

All about work and respect. Hope both team can put their best performances as well. P/C first Olympics, I'm hoping they are not nervous on the ice. V/M last 2 performances, hope they can end with a bang. I'll add H/D and Shibs who have proved to be exceptionnal this year. Cannot wait for all of them to perform, the rest is out of hand anyway. Wish is not gold, silver, or whatever, it's to put the best performances out there - I hope no one is disappointed with their skates :hap10:

Agreed. This is so, so important. Whatever the colour of hardware, I just hope they walk off the ice feeling that it was the best they ever did.
 
I'm scared for the French. I hope the changes they made to the program(s) worked and they re even better. Superb already, but still :)

Don't worry dear. As they said themselves in the little article, their lives are not at stake. Nobody's going to die. You can relax and enjoy the magic.
 
I know no french but one thing I think I got was, that Guillaume was joking about bringing a triple loop and triple twist into their program ;)
the question could have been something like: what secret changes / weapons do you have for the olympic Free dance ? Or something like that ...
