Gabriella Papadakis & Guillaume Cizeron

Romain was already coaching them as children, when they were still training in Clermont Ferrand with Gabi’s mother, before living to join him in Lyon. They choose to follow him to Montréal. So they have a much longer history with him than anybody else. It’s rather normal he is more sensitive to P and C’s disappointment than to V and M’s one. It doesn’t turn him into a disloyal coach or a non objective one. His relationship with the canadians is obviously more recent and professional.But I’m sure he enjoyed training such champions, as well as P C.
I perfectly remember Romain saying last year that he had pointed out ( told them) that they had made many mistakes all the year long and were responsibles for letting points go. The result of the WC 2017 was made of what each couple had achieved during the season. That’s what I remember Romain saying. Which is far from being pro P/C.

What shall I say then...
Laurence and Nick are 100% fine (no injury, nothing wrong). I can confirm that they won't participate to the Worlds in Milan on purpose.
You should get some news anytime soon...

I call change of federation, they'll skate for Canada. I wish we could have seen them at world's though.
 
It’s now about 10 days after their sd and whenever I google Gabriella’s name there are all this photos and videos for “wardrobe malfunction”. I feel so angry with all those people who have not a life….
Right here I want to say that I am very very proud of Gaby (as a Greek woman also) and I think that not only she is a very brave and decent woman but also a very beautiful one!!!And her professionalism and dedication to their team is so respectful:clapper:!!!Guillaume is so lucky to have her as a partner!!!!

Gabriella is lucky to have Guillaume as a partner and he is lucky to have Gabriella as a partner.:) They complement each other, and on the ice, they become one ... Their agreement, complicity is very beautiful in the good and bad times. They are made to be together on the ice:luv17:

Guillaume has been very sweet to Gabriella during the Olympics. I'm not saying that he usually isn't (of course he is), but he was so gentle with her there (holding her hand during the press conference after the SD, comforting her and drying her tears backstage)...let's say more openly affectionate. And this beautiful moment after the FD, when he kissed her hands...They were both so moved. It was beautiful to witness.
They often say they're not close to each other outside of the rink. But you can tell they deeply love and respect each other. Soulmates on the ice, that's for sure. And again, sure there's no "sexual tension" between them (thank god we won't dwell upon this and fancy all type of things like V/M fans do), but there is an undeniable sensuality. I actually love how they touch each other's body, they brush each other's limbs so soflty. I find it funny that the spanish commentators are always so fascinated by their "sensualidad" lol "¡Qué sensualidad entre ellos! Comó se miran a los ojos..." = "So much sensuality between them. How they look at each other's eyes..." They point it out almost each time 😂

Yes ! And it's not just on the Latin or Flamenco SD, or the Mozart FD - all of them requiring this. It's in all their programs, it's just the way they skate and dance with each other.
I think every dance team have a way to dance with each other and sometimes you cannot teach it or you have to "force" it. Well, I love how it's never forced, it's just the way they are and perform. It's one of my favourite feature about them and I'll take that connection any day because it looks so genuine. Their work with Catherine Pinard show off so much because you see the difference between playing a role and living it. And it makes the difference between them and other teams. We often forget that spending so much time together can make things go a bit "numb" when actually it's all part of the performance.
Also those soft & beautiful moments are not always caught by the camera, but the replays ? I live for that. In Slo-motion ? Even BETTER ! (The spectator wants more...).
