I really wonder what commentary BESP had during the performances.
If that's true: WOWB.ESP supposedly cut P/C's performances from their coverage entirely.
Nothing special: thank you's and congrats to the other French Olympians and we're tired and we did our best tonight and come and support us in Milan and Guillaume asks if they are having a good time.

Wow superb!!Can somebody please tell us what Gabriella and GUillaume are saying at the end??It must be something![]()
Such as... ?

Romain should be more of a fan of p/c because they are the better skaters. Any coach that P/C work with should be a bigger fan of them than of v/m in terms of skating; otherwise, they don't know what great skating looks like.
Didier was the one who suggested and brought in Dean to my recall.
V/M and P/C are fundamentally different.

They didn't. They showed everything live, but cut P/C's SD from the archived footage - the answer I got from them when I asked why I couldn't find it was that they wanted to protect Gabriella's privacy after the costume problem. They showed the FD in full. But Hanretty wasn't commentating because he is working on DOI at the moment.
Romain on the other hand has said more unfortunate things to French media.
Well I would need time to go find all the articles going back to 2017 Worlds but to French media Romain clearly leaves hanging in the air that he feels P/C were unfortunate to lose against V/M. In 2017 after Worlds suggesting that in the SD judges looked for errors in P/C SD but overlooked in others.
That's why D/L pretend to be "neutral".They are coaches, they shouldn't be "fans" of anyone, just be able to work objectively with all of their students. Playing favourites is the way to end up with very few students.

Well that was productive. Appreciate your input.

I think that is enough because I don't want to take more time in a fan thread. Just thought I should respond to those who quoted me. To the one who asked if they can win in 2022. If they are the best in 2022 then why not? V/M medalled in three consecutive Olympics and I think Gabby and Guillaume have a very similar trajectory as V/M. They are so many similarities between these two that it amazes me fans of both don't see it and appreciate them both. The most memorable dance teams since 2008 are all these teams that were paired up as children and made it through together to Seniors. There's a winning formula there for sure.
