USFSA should be throwing money at Nathan to keep him in tip top shape. Open up the big envelope they haven't used for awhile.
They don't have money. LOL Those days are over.

Has anyone considered that just maybe
Nathan would receive coaching other than from Raf? From a coach that is already on the east coast
Like a co-coaching situation without the Marina messiness this time. I think it is at least a possibility?

He will never do that. The kid has brains..lot’ of them. He flew for just three days to see a Raf last week. That’s how it’s going to work. By phone and exchanged visits.Nathan is in a touch situation. better change coach then. Be Bold Nathan.Give it a try, now is the best time, maybe you can survive without Daddy Raf

I just don’t know how realistic it is that Nathan will be paying $10000 regularly for a few days of coaching from Raf.
Maybe I'm not understanding how it works, but I thought elite coaches typically work with multiple skaters during the same session. So if Raf was away he'd be losing income from those other skaters.

No, it's when starts to party, gets lots of non skating friends or he gets the new girlfriend is when I'll worry. That may make him lose focus.

Not saying it’s going to happen
But there is certainly a party culture at Yale for those who want to partake
And what about like skull and bones and secret societies
What group wouldn’t want Nathan as a member![]()
This is why he needs a good local coach to make sure he doesn't slack off.
He need a strong coach that won't be intimidated by his status. There aren't a lot of coaches that trained world champs in the US. And not many that can even teach quads. And hardly at Nathan's quality. I'd be happy with an ice dance coach to help him with his SS and someone to help him focus on his spins and transistions.
The obvious solution is Patrick Chan. LOL

Would Patric Chan be good at that?

i
Nathan at least needs to figure out a better transition into his solo quad jump![]()
