Does Nathan need to cover the travel cost of the two girls too?

I don't think the Japanese federation and the Korean federation are spending their money to see their athletes dragged from one part of the country to the other, to be honest. Plus, who would pay for the expenses for Eun Soo and Marin to get there? If Raf is willing to go in the Yale area before competitions then the girls will stay at home with the rest of the team and practice there. Plus, while Skate America will probably have them invited (both for financial and practical reason - at the moment they are the least competitive among the athletes of their respective countries so better chance for the American ladies to go higher - I hope this will change with Raf guide, though) we don't have any idea where they will go as second GP (nor Nathan). Plus, while Japanese nationals are easy to plan, Korea has like a million competitions to place in order to be selected for 4CC and Worlds, which are very important for Eun Soo to do since they only have one spot and I don't know if Raf will go every time or if he will delegate this to another member of the team (like Orser frequently does with Jun, but Jun is 100 % guaranteed the spots, while Eun Soo has to gain it against Dabin, Yelim and maybe So Youn).
JSF has deep pockets, so I'm sure they cover travel to other training facilities. After all, Marin travelled regularly to Canada and Detroit for choreography for years. As for Eunsoo, Well the flight isn't that expensive so I hope so.

Mie dragged Kaori, Marin, and Rika to the US to train last year. The truth is, this would be a better deal for them. In LA, they’d have to compete with other skaters for attention. Raf’s schedule could be very tight. At Yale, it will be only them and Nathan at a private rink. When Nathan is working solo or eating, the girls get Raf all to themselves. Which is really important during high level comp like GP.
The second GP doesn’t matter unless one of them go to Rostelecom, which is unlikely. They’ll either go to CoC, NHK, or IdF. All of which make the plan feasible.
As for those qualifying competitions, I guess Vera will have to stand in for Raf. The scheduling for those is a headache. But Eunsoo is really good! If Raf can beef up her consistency, she should have no problem going to worlds.
He said in an interview That Yale offered to work with him with his skating. I assume that means they offered more than Cal and Stanford.
Why would Raf bring Marin/Eunsoo, in particular, to Yale? As his newest students, will they be given special treatment compared to Mariah or Romain? I also can’t see Raf bringing so many people with him.
I actually agree with Ic3Rabbit and Iappo that they will probably stay home and train.

I assumed so. Really hope they can provide rink time on campus. Mathsn is going to Bulldog day in a few days. Hopefully we get to know more afterwards.

JK.Anyways, from reading all suggestions here, the only sure thing I think is that Marin and Squirtle will got SA together with Nathan. I am very happy with that

Because Romain won’t have a GP slot and Mariah will most likely have the same GP as either Nathan, Marin, or Eunsoo. So she can either travel with them with Nathan.
Raf is going to prioritize Nathan. That’s obvious. But he still wants some winners in his corner. Both Eunsoo and Marin have the ability to medal and give him more prestige. But if he leaves them alone to train for the GP and they both fizzle, he’ll look bad. Mariah has been with him for two years, so she’s used to it. But Eunsoo and Marin are new. I think bring them to a private rink where they can get focused on their next competition is a good idea.

I remember he took a tour of Stanford but mentioned UC Irvine instead.
And the whole training issue is Raf's problem to figure out. Nathan's school is inconvenient, but if Raf agreed to new students and agreed to train Nathan (and possibly even go to him) then it's something he needs to figure out.

I just have a idea, if training with Team BO in Canada is impossible, I think maybe Nathan can go there for summer camps. maybe get a choreo or 2 from J-butt or David Wilson. testing out the environment, take those fancy looking skating skills classes and have fan with wakababy (I assume she will be there for summer camps like before) in their dance classes.
It will be a fun and motivating (you know what I mean) experience for our Nathan BOI.

About your idea of an Orser camp...TSL says that Boyang is going to BOrser so I don't think it will be feasible (if the rumor is true).
Well, the point is that is why they scheduled it for a weekday and gave no prior notice. I'm not saying the store would get mobbed, but they would probably have to assign few extra workers to the event who would normally be busy elsewhere. Even a few dozen people would disrupt store operations.
If Boyang will be send to Orser then that spot is taken.... this is exactly my worries, if Nathan wanna make arrangements. they needs to act fast, otherwise, there will be no space (any space) left for him. before you know it next OG is right there.
Consider next OG is in Beijing, Boyang will be a big fav to win the Gold there (with Team Orser's packaging ability and political prowess and China money). I am Chinese, but Nathan is my sentimental fav. I really hope first, his figure skating potential can be developed fully and properly, second, his dream can become true, that is win that OGM he deserves.

I really don't think going to BO is even an option in the first place. Not sure why it's being suggested other than wishful thinking. He'll probably be working hard on Cali with his actual coach while he can before he has to move across the country. Though he's going to have to get choreography from somewhere of course

are you guys really sure that Nathan will be Raf's top priority when so many other countries' star skaters are joining his team with foreign money, yet Nathan is 1800 miles away. As discussed in this board, Raf is paid by the hours, and other new SS coach would just like any other new coach with no familiarity, what is the difference from a summer camp.
Ofc, going to summer Camp is not just about experiencing or summer vacation. it is to learn (e.g. get choreo) as Summer camp suppose to be, and establish the rapport.
IMO, it is not somthing to act quick. there is no way BO is going to work with someone going to Yale full time. Basically you are asking Nathan to give up Yale to make it happen. Plus, BO is going to ask Yuzu about his opinion before taking another male student, do you think Yuzu would prefer Nathan over Boyang?
As much as I would like all the best thing for Nathan, and I really think BO is a great coach, but can we wish for something which might be a little realistic?
