Does Nathan need to cover the travel cost of the two girls too?

I’ve thought about the Marin/Eunsoo situation and figured it out. I know Marin will have two GP and Eunsoo will probably get one. Two of KF politic right. Coaches prefer having their skaters all in one competition so more than likely Marin will get SA because she’s in the US and already has her Visa, so the expenses would be lower. Or SC for similar reasons. Eunsoo should get the same consideration by SA and SC. Marin’s second should be in NHK or CoC. Same for Eunsoo.
I’ll clarify now. If Raf has Leave to train with Nathan at Yale, the easiest solution is to bring Marin and Eunsoo with him. Theoretically, one will be competing at the same competion with Nathan and the other skating the very next week. So this way he gets to train with them all at once. Then they both will have completitions in the middle of the GP series, leaving Nathan to self train until IdF. Then after NHK Raf can train with Nathan for IdF. Afterwards, if Marin/Eunsoo does make the final they can train with Nathan again.
Grand Prix Placements make things so complicated. At least with all the nationals, it’s easier to plan. But it looks like with 4CC and Worlds it’s train with Nathan again.
It may seem like a bad deal for Eunsoo and Marin, but mastering competition is getting use to traveling and skating in unfamiliar areas. A pre-training trip in the middle of winter should beef them up for the their comp. besides, it feels like 90% of girls between the ages of 14-28 have crushes on Nathan. If they do, that’s another bonus for them.

Nathan sure picked an inconvenient location for college lol
This all sounds like it would be easier if he had chosen one of his NorCal safety schools![]()
I don't think the Japanese federation and the Korean federation are spending their money to see their athletes dragged from one part of the country to the other, to be honest. Plus, who would pay for the expenses for Eun Soo and Marin to get there? If Raf is willing to go in the Yale area before competitions then the girls will stay at home with the rest of the team and practice there. Plus, while Skate America will probably have them invited (both for financial and practical reason - at the moment they are the least competitive among the athletes of their respective countries so better chance for the American ladies to go higher - I hope this will change with Raf guide, though) we don't have any idea where they will go as second GP (nor Nathan). Plus, while Japanese nationals are easy to plan, Korea has like a million competitions to place in order to be selected for 4CC and Worlds, which are very important for Eun Soo to do since they only have one spot and I don't know if Raf will go every time or if he will delegate this to another member of the team (like Orser frequently does with Jun, but Jun is 100 % guaranteed the spots, while Eun Soo has to gain it against Dabin, Yelim and maybe So Youn).
I know. Talking about which, I really wonder what deal Yale offers him. They pretty much snatched him away from S.
He said in an interview That Yale offered to work with him with his skating. I assume that means they offered more than Cal and Stanford.

JK.
:Why would Raf bring Marin/Eunsoo, in particular, to Yale? As his newest students, will they be given special treatment compared to Mariah or Romain? I also can’t see Raf bringing so many people with him.
I actually agree with Ic3Rabbit and Iappo that they will probably stay home and train.

I hope so.
The proximity of Cal/Stanford would be easier for the new ladies (or the entire Team Raf entourage lol). But no rinks super close to either school and who knows what Stanford offered (let’s forget about Cal - public school and unlikely for much flexibility). Unless we count this cute outdoor rink near Stanford that is too small and not open year round.

very cute
I just have a idea, if training with Team BO in Canada is impossible, I think maybe Nathan can go there for summer camps. maybe get a choreo or 2 from J-butt or David Wilson. testing out the environment, take those fancy looking skating skills classes and have fan with wakababy (I assume she will be there for summer camps like before) in their dance classes.
It will be a fun and motivating (you know what I mean) experience for our Nathan BOI.
BTW, guys TSL reported Yuna is getting choreo in Canada!!! what??!

um as much as I love Nathan
the danger of him drawing a crowd too large for a giant Walmart store in Arkansas to handle
On a weekday
Seems unlikely lol
Well, the point is that is why they scheduled it for a weekday and gave no prior notice. I'm not saying the store would get mobbed, but they would probably have to assign few extra workers to the event who would normally be busy elsewhere. Even a few dozen people would disrupt store operations.
It is not rumor, some reporter from China tweeted that per Hongbo, they are considering sending Boyang to work with BO.
Nathan needs to work with RAF in summer, it is more realistic to expect Nathan to find a coach work with him on SS and other issues while away from RAF than going to some summer camp. Nathan needs to be whoever’s top priority, not just spending his limited time only experience somthing.
IMO, it is not somthing to act quick. there is no way BO is going to work with someone going to Yale full time. Basically you are asking Nathan to give up Yale to make it happen. Plus, BO is going to ask Yuzu about his opinion before taking another male student, do you think Yuzu would prefer Nathan over Boyang? If Boyang will be send to Orser then that spot is taken.... this is exactly my worries, if Nathan wanna make arrangements. they needs to act fast, otherwise, there will be no space (any space) left for him. before you know it next OG is right there.
Consider next OG is in Beijing, Boyang will be a big fav to win the Gold there (with Team Orser's packaging ability and political prowess and China money). I am Chinese, but Nathan is my sentimental fav. I really hope first, his figure skating potential can be developed fully and properly, second, his dream can become true, that is win that OGM he deserves.
Otherwise, it is just sad..
Nathan, his talent, his kindness, he deserves the best.
