Thank you! I guess we will still be seeing him quite a lot this off season then. What a treat! As a new fan, after the olympics I saw older fans telling us to brace ourselves for a long period of drought especially since he is still recovering. I guess I have the post Olympics hype to thank. It’s great that we could see him skate at CiONTU and possibly at FaOI (?) :D

So he never answers Beijing Olympic question and is unsure of competing for 2022 but is already thinking of Quintuples? He cannot possibly land Quintuples in 2 seasons can he??? Those 2 statements somehow sound contradictory and I want to examine Hanyu's mind to find the truth and his secret plans [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

@yude I am gonna be in kobe in june 17 is there a way I can go to the p and g talk show? Or if he is going to FAOI how can foreign fans buy tickets?

Hahaha Well, from what we’ve seen in the translation, he didn’t actually specify that he’d like to land the quint in a competition though. So we never know... :scratch2:
But then again, considering his drive and competitive nature, if he could consistently land a quint, he wouldn’t not want to land it in competitions :laugh:

How much harder is a 5T compared to 4A though? I don’t skate so I don’t have a slightest idea on how jumps actually work in practice. If I were to go by what I’ve seen/read over the couple of months though, I would imagine that if he is able to do a 4A, the 5T shouldn’t take that long after? I don’t know... I’m just judging based on how a lot of skaters can do quads but still struggle on or choose to leave out the 3A ( like Trusova? I understand that she doesn’t do the 3A right?) so the 5T with the toe pick to assist the take off might be relatively ‘easier’ step to go up?? :shrug:

Someone who skates or has good technical knowledge, please shed some lights for me re the relative difficulty in obtaining 4A and 5T? Thank you!

There is the lottery for both talk shows and ice shows, and for talk shows, we have to buy some P&G products and send them the receipts , and I think its deadline is in this week. But ice shows in Kobe, we have still time and its general sale will start on May 12. The easiest way is to ask your friend in Japan if you have any, the official web site doesn't say how to buy the tickets from overseas. http://www.fantasy-on-ice.com/ticket.html

He once said he wanted to try 4A in ice shows after his retirement, so he might try quint in ice shows someday :biggrin:

About Beijing Olympics, I feel people ask him the same question like a greeting for the coming years and I hope he will not take it very seriously (and the same goes to us, haha).
