Apparently she wants Zhenya to go to her and bring her flowers before she leaves.
Has she ever thought that maybe Evgenia doesn’t feel like bringing her flowers? Just an idea...

Tarasova seems to be supporting Medvedeva's decision and if so, she has someone in her corner who is stronger than Eteri.
She didn't like at all what Eteri said on TV. There was an interview today

Well if there is anyone more powerful than Eteri in Russian skating, it's Tarasova. (And Tarasova has probably never forgiven Eteri for pushing Adelina out of the team event in Sochi, even though Adelina/Tarasova had the last laugh on that one.)

I suddenly feel like hugging Tarasova
I don't see why i should respect someone more because she loves her sport. I would be surprised if most of skaters want to stagnate and not improve, high scores or no.

Yes TAT Zhenya needs you now more than ever to provide her that support with the fed. I know she’s really horrible to some people like Kolyada but at least she understands moral decency. And when she turned the tables on the interviewer and the end it was brilliant
Tarasova has her personal agenda... she probably doesn't like very much Eteri as she was always a supporter of another school CSKA.

TAT really likes her. And I hope it stays that way, with how turbulent this transfer is going. And well, TAT should know what she's talking about: an Olympic favourite leaving their coach after a younger rinkmate won Olympic gold is exactly how she got Yagudin. For additional similarities, she was coaching from abroad back then so Yagudin was also leaving Russia to train with her and got a lot of flack for it.

I'm betting TPTB (or some people among TPTB) is the one that green lighted Evgenia's coaching change. Given how PR-savvy the girl has been throughout, she surely would have some backing within RusFed to initiate the coaching change. When the fed doesn't want you to change coach, it's a mess. See: poor Yulia.
If anything, I think Evgenia's reputation marking might not take a hit after all next season. TPTB favours her enough so they wouldn't immediately shoot themselves in the foot. Now, if Evgenia continues losing to Alina, that's a whole new story.

If Medvedeva can win next years GPF everything should be fine for her as it’s pre nats so will show status quo without national bias. However if Zhenya looses to Zagi or anyone else then that could be devastating.

I don´t care why she does it, but I didn´t like what Eteri did with the message and the "supposed" comments . It was a classless move no matter how you look at it. To air your dirty laundry is not the way I want a coach or anyone to act to a former students.
Oh God, you are so wrong, many fans support Zhenya as well as many former and current figure skaters and champions and coaches say she has made a smart move. Those who are whining are in minority.
