Has anyone noticed this?

From the IceNetwork article: 'Orser met with Medvedeva, 18, and her mother, Zhanna Devyatova, on Sunday, April 22, at the Mayfield Hotel in Seoul'.

This was the exact date she deleted most of her pictures with Yuzuru from her Instagram.

Nice observation. back then, everyone thought she was just tired of Hanyu fans, no one would have speculated her moving to Orser in their wildest dreams lol

Yes. I noticed. Maybe he gave her some conditions to joining TCC which involves more respect for team mate's privacy on social media.

I don't think it was Brian...I can see it as being her own decision, knowing how crazy his fans can get and seeing what happened to Misha (the Hanyu fans were accusing him of posting photos with Yuzu for popularity so sadly he said he would stop posting photos with yuzu because of the toxicity he recieved), she was just trying to take some early prevention measures against them

I saw that on Sports.ru but it seems like it's just someone's dumb blog title...anyone can post any rubbish there, as far as I know. Somewhat like Tumblr. Cringey for sure, but not a "news article," as such. And many of the comments below it are very critical. Clearly not all Russians think that way or care. Johnny Weir, Stephane, Adam, etc. all have lots of Russian fans and Brian is well respected by the vast majority of skating fans, I'm sure.

Ouch. Are you sure you're in the right forum? All of the pics Zhenya had were taken in public events, there was no 'private pictures'. Yuzu himself seems quite happy to take pics with other skaters. It's not like Zhenya was a paparazzi or anything like that!

I agree. Or maybe it was a joint decision between Zhenya and Brian.
 
I'm pretty sure the point of deleting the pictures was to have people leave both her and Yuzuru alone and stop 'shipping' and all of that. So that's what we should do.

Evgenia and Eteri parting made it to Polish news which is huge as we don't really get any info about figure skating besides Olympics

Sorry, I didn't mentioned it from a shipping POV, I just thought it was interesting because that was a lot of speculation back then, but now (at least to me) the whole thing seems a lot clearer, especially with the coinciding date. I don't disagree with deleting the pics nor I am trying to judge anyone.
 
So now that this is all out I take it Med being close and hanging out with Team Canada in Japan (and with Gabby in SK) wasn't a coincidence at all, even mama Medvedeva was hanging out with them lol she was like “lemme see what these Canadians are like before my daughter goes away to live with them”
