That’s why I said they have *mostly* *very good* technique.
And Brian is not Daleman’s main coach.
Tursynbaeva is very young, maybe they’ll correct that with time. I hope so.
This was a bit off topic.
Anyway, my point is
I think Brian will *at least* try to correct Medvedeva’s technique. Maybe not right away and god knows how long it will take but I believe he won’t just completely ignore the issue.
Evgenia saying she wants her own voice. She was always told what music to skate to. What spin positions to do.
Agree we are of topic, so Evgenia and her mom moving to Canada, is grandma also moving?

Orser met with Medvedeva, 18, and her mother, Zhanna Devyatova, on Sunday, April 22, at the Mayfield Hotel in Seoul. When the meeting ended, Orser realized what at first seemed unbelievable would soon become reality.
"She told me, 'I want to make a change,''' Orser said. "She didn't really give me any reasons why.

In the statement, Evgenia specifically mentioned German doctor's advice of staying away from (heavy load). It kind of implies that if she continues to work with Eteri, she will not avoid the heavy training and will risk injuring herself more. Is this one of the main reasons?
It also implies she will be training differently in Canada with at least less work load. So I think Evgenia blames her injury on Eteri's heavy training, which arguably stopped her from stopping Alina's momentum, therefore, bye Eteri.
I am just trying to understand the logic.

Perhaps Jerry the dog is staying with her in Moscow?![]()
If Zhenya doesnt take Jerry she may leave the dog with Alina! :agree:

I think if she is moving with her mum, so will JetryPerhaps Jerry the dog is staying with her in Moscow? [emoji3]

I'm new to FS and from what I understand it's an expensive sport to be in. Finances are a concern if you know next to nothing about how this world works. Thanks for the reassurance though. I'm glad she's secure. That's one more thing off my chest. :luv17:All the hand wringing about the finances and poor ickle Russian money is seriously cracking me up something awful
I expected many things but well done, this nonsense managed to surprise me.
Zhenya will pay for Zhenya. I know some hate the idea she is successful but the young lady has two major sponsorship deals that right now, cover her needs. Add everything else and problem? What problem.
One of the reasons I like Orser is that he seems to have a lot of respect for the different personalities and approaches of each of his skaters. He never tried to make Yuzu into Javi or Javi into Yuzu or both of them into some cookie cutter skater he envisions. Instead, he worked with them on strong SS and execution, got them great choreographers and let them both be who they are. I'm excited to see what Medvedeva has to show us as an artist as well as an athlete with more room to express herself. And better choreo. lol
