Lil Bet, could have endless personal money? Her fed could also invest massively in her ... they don't have many athletes in the elite (top 10).
Information on who pays for Li Bet is easily available in her Wiki bio article.

We don't know, you're right. All we know is she didn't reply to text messages, there's no way of confirming whether she contacted Eteri any other way. Either way, this ended up being an unfortunately messy separation.
1)Do you always tell your boss when you chg jobs? Well, it would depend on who your boss is & the situation, wouldn't it.
2)If someone drags you into a mud fight in public, do you always have to respond in public? immediately? Some might choose to do it in private, or at a later date. Zhenya responding in public is for the public, not for Alina.
Funnily enough, I've never changed jobs(satisfied with current one). But if I would, yes, I would tell. But we're not talking about me here.

Agreed. Eteri has shown her desire to get out in front of the story with mudslinging, Evgenia may have wanted to limit Eteri’s chances to publicly bad mouth her as well as sabatoge her chances of moving.Apart from the fact that we only have Eteri's version of events on the matter - how would it have gone down? Evgenia would have gone to Eteri and be like "soooo I wanna leave and work with Orser" and then if Orser had said no she would have found herself with no Eteri and no Brian. That's just not an option. Plus, their relationship must have become strained enough for Evgenia to want to leave that Eteri must have had a good idea it was going to happen.
She could at least discuss that with her coach, but she decided to not even try. That's her choice. I have zero respect for such people.
You see, it's all about "who believes who". I don't believe either of them, but saying one thing and doing other means she is a hypocrite. Also she doesn't want to comment on the words about Zagitova, which most likely means it's true.

Not to mention Worlds 2018 showed Alina could be unstable sometimes so they will back a consistent skater like Zhenya until someone more reliable and more skilled turns upConsidering how Russia was this close to losing 3 spots at Worlds this year, I'm not sure they can afford to turn their back on Evgenia at this point. Things might change when the junior phenomenons turn senior, but right now they'll back her. You can't have 3 spots with only one skater doing well.
Also, do we know when that was filmed? (not released but filmed) To me, if it was filmed before she went to Germany that would make a lot of sense. She would probably think "why would I leave Eteri? she's like family and she's done everything for me" but then the doctor made her realize that she CAN'T keep training like that if she wants to have a career. I think whenever it was filmed, she did think that she wanted to stay, and something happened rather abruptly to change her mind.
That was filmed in March (don't remember exact date). Orser said she contacted him in April, 2. So it takes only few weeks for her to go from "i stay here without any doubt" to "i leave"

Quite honestly, if the rumour of her federation wanting her to retire prove to be true (the artificial PCS inflation for Alina seems to indicate this), Evegenia is being pitted in a corner if she actually want to continue.
What others choice does she have except going abroad?
How do you think she should go about it?
You think any Russia coaches dare to go against the fed?
What are the chances ISU and IOC increase max spots from top country from 3 to 4?
Why not? Other sports do it. Plus we are at a state where the talent pool in Russia is overwhelmingNonexistent
