I actually did see Nathan at 2016 Worlds, walking around the arena. There was a skater seating section up in the balcony, where my seat was, so I saw many many skaters up there. I thought about saying something to Nathan when I saw him, but I felt super awkward about it since he was supposed to be competing there except he got injured, and I wasn't really sure exactly what to say because I thought he was probably not feeling great about being there as a spectator instead of competing at his first senior worlds. In retrospect I wish I'd at least said hi and that I'm a fan but oh well. In general I tend to be a little uncomfortable approaching skaters although the few that I did talk to (Ashley, Jorik, Danny O'Shea) were super nice about it.

If he wins the Olympics, I expect a full parade and for the city to be renamed after him

I’m pretty sure they would, I know other Olympic champs have had parades in their hometowns before in US and SLC is not exactly swimming with star athletes so having a former Olympic host developing an Olympic Champion that started skating specifically bc of SLC Olympics is pretty good storyline

Now whether Nathan would actually want that is another thing lol. That might freak him out [emoji23]
 
Not only was Nathan gifted with ideal everything - including hair, eyebrows, jawline, hands/fingers, physique, fast-twitch muscle fibers, musicality, extreme intelligence, mental focus, amazing family and parents, etc

He was born in the right location!

Nathan is so cute and sweet in the video: 'Of course I was only three at the time ...'

This is one versatile jean jacket - worn at DWTS and this most historic of days

It's not exactly funny.

And there is a way to do it that isn't scary or threatening to them. People just need to take the skaters feelings and reactions into consideration and then figure it out.

Haha I tried really hard to find something to add...He has a perfect supporting family especially mom.

I made a general statement about all fans and all skaters. Not anyone in here necessarily. Again GENERAL STATEMENT. Even though it has been said in here multiple times today how to stalk or "track down" skaters. :palmf: My advice remains, don't do it. It's wrong.

Congrats to Nathan, I’m sure his hometown will hand him the key and name a street after along with a life size figure by their sport arena after he finishes his senior career. Feeling warm and fuzzy 💜

Btw, a fan who I met at soi just msg me saying the “universal studio” girl posted a sexy pic of her on Brooklyn Bridge also during sunset a few days after Nathan posted his, coincidence?!
