Yuzuru Hanyu: 2017-2018

I'm still wondering who skates to "Let it go" I've watched a fan-made video Yuzuru skates to that song before and I thought it suited him, but is it weird if a male skater performs it?

I can't wait to see big pictures from the actual FaOI show and the programs, ahh, I'm starving to see what Yuzu is going to skate. And I'm also absolutely curious about the costumes them seem to look quite good from afar...:laugh:

This is a report from a staff from the crew of TV program aired tomorrow, it seems Orser will talk about Yuzuru and the team in three months prior to PC Olympics and the interview is new.
Sorry, this interview was taken three months prior to the Olympics or three months after the Olympics? If prior- how come this interview is new? Just because it wasn't aired?

So do we have a new ex?

Whoah... few days off and so many news :eeking:
That ESPN list with Yuzu just made my day. I can't stop smiling

FaoI will be fantastic, too, for sure. New programs would be great, but I wouldn't mind either, if he continued his career flashback marathon (WL, NP, POTO, LGC, H&L,...) Whatever he's going to do, I'm happy to see him skate again :hap10:

The new SOV table is crazy and I can't believe that it will make things better overall, but I've full trust in Yuzu that he can win in any kind of judging system - with style

I don't think it's weird for a male skater doing Let It Go, but I'd rather no one did.
I'm not a fan of the version with lyrics, but I absolutely love this one here:

It doesn't even have to be re-edited, the music lasts exactly 4:00 minutes. The final spin could be a cracker.

It will be decided by the ISU congress in June. The proposal is to count only 3 jumps in the second half bonus. You can do more, but only 3 will be counted for the bonus.

Just to clarify, the 3 jumps only with bonus is one proposal (by Japan, who also wants only 1 jump with bonus in the SP). There's also another proposal, for 4 jumps with bonus in the FS (2 in SP), from Canada if I'm not mistaken. Which one, if any, will be chosen, remains to be seen.

New program, new program. Please. Sob
I think, the chance is pretty good. He spent quite some time at TCC (since he didn't compete at Worlds) and it wouldn't be the first program debut at FaoI.

Just realized that the men's free at this year's GPF is scheduled on 7th December. So Yuzu has the chance to celebrate a gold medal and a potential 4A debut at a former Olympic venue on his birthday! What an XXL present that would be :laugh2:

He is probably already working out how... I know we tend to be super protective of our own special favourites (and Yuzuru brings it out even more than others, I suspect) but he's proven pretty conclusively that he can make the numbers and skills work better than anyone, even when {cough - Olympics - cough} injured and unable to max out...

I'm sorry, my explanation was not good, the interview seems to have been taken recently (didn't say when but it was after the Olympics for sure) and Orser talked about how Yuzuru and his team had spent three months period before the Olympics. The staff says in his report, "Actually, for the first time since the Pyeongchang Olympic Games, he looked back and talked about those days and it became a very valuable interview". The time length of this show is about 2 hours but it also features other athletes, so Yuzuru's segment is not going to be so long. And Orser's interview will be used in the reenactment drama and I guess his voice is dubbed
