When I heard about Boyang last night, I was convinced theyd never take Jason, but I kept thinking, why can’t he at least work with Ghislain? A great jump specialist is what he needs. So if Jason’s new primary team is Lee and Ghislain, and Brian consults, and Tracy keeps working on his skating skills, I think he’ll be in great shape.

My guess was Lee as primary, but Ghislain as primary or secondary makes a lot of sense to me as well. Doesn't mean he won't have exposure to Tracy and Brian or any of the others, just that they would be part of the team in a slightly different role. Paige should be thrilled at having such a brilliant spinner at the club!

I love the idea of Jason, Boyang, Yuzuru, and Evgenia being training mates too. Remembering that at Worlds 2017, Yuzuru praised Jason for his performance ability, I think Jason will bring something to TCC as well as learn a lot.

There is something about Evgenia that reminds me of Jason - I think it’s that she has such a positive outlook on things.

Jumps: Maybe a 4F. Flip is his favorite jump.

I think it will be a perfect fit for Jason no matter what happens with his jumps. He's such a positive personality and that's a big, big plus with Brian and Tracy.

I SO wanted Brian to work with Jason. Jason is NOT washed up - he just needs help with his jumping technique and can you imagine a better coach for that? But as I posted on the main forum. it almost makes me wonder if Hanyu is going to retire from competitive skating. Can hardly wait for the season to start. WOOT! WOOT!

Mhm, Ghislain's fantastic as a jump coach, he's been working a lot with Yuzuru lately. He's in my mind ideal to tackle Jason's main issue which are his jumps. Along with Lee, he's imo completely covered. Usual skating lessons with Tracy and Brian overseeing it all, as he does, and I don't think there's a better solution for him.

Granted, I do think TCC is too crowded now, so there'll be those waters to swim in when big egos and feds collide but even with that, in terms of Jason, and where he is in his career, this is a good thing I believe.
