Yeah, I don't think that he is getting costume by him, Mathieu seemed to imply that it was chance meeting, maybe Shoma is just there to get training with Romain.

Yeah he just bumped into Shoma at the rink. The thing is we actually don’t know if this is his first day there or has he been there for a couple of days? The boi is such a mystery. Anyway not long until you can see him in Chicago Arriba! Yay!

When I found out that Finland will be hosting the new GP I was so excited I could hardly breath thinking that there was a real possibility of Shoma being there but my joy was short lived Well you win some you lose some. I'm happy for Shoma to be at NHK finally. And Arriba got a little (belated) birthday present

Finland seems like a good choice, Worlds 2017 was held there wasn't it?
I think Shoma will be happy to be at NHK too and Skate Canada too, well he's already there now

The chances are low, infortunately, since Nathan will probably always get Skate America now.

That sucks ;; We can’t afford to leave the country right now, so Skate Canada is also a no-go. I was hoping that he would go to Chicago as well, but if he is not doing a show like last year it would feel awkward.. I was unable to go last year, as well, due to such short notice. (The same with SA 2016)[emoji24] It seems I have bad luck

Yes, the 2017 Worlds were here. He should have come here. He could have changed that silver to a gold :agree2:

Wasn't 2016 Skating America in Chicago? If so you just missed Shoma! And just to mention, when I went to Helsinki, that was about the same cost as worlds in Boston, and that Worlds was just a ~ 2 hour flight. I paid less flying to Helsinki than I have to fly to California (I'm in DC). And that was a much better worlds, mind you.
