@oro1_ (from Japan) on Twitter said that Alina will be debuting her POTO SP at The Ice show. I think is the real deal because there’s 262 retweet’s and 367 likes and everybody started to be excited about it there. If this is true, I cannot wait until September to watch it! The Ice must be broadcast live or a couple of days letter, please.

I'm worried as it's a warhorse but i trust that Danil and Eteri heard Alina's wish of showing maturity in her skating and will give her programs to show more of her personality. I like Yuzuru's POTO after all. I'm sure she'll gain more japanese fans from doing ice shows there! :luv17:

I took a look at this girl's profile - it's admirable that she is so good at English at such a young age and so social and open-minded. And obviously on good terms with the Eteri's girls. I see that Alina is her idol - quite understandable, girls like her dream of being an ice Cinderella - being an underdog and with talent, hard work and dedication slowly climbing to the top when nobody expects.

Alina's story is a real inspiration, maybe some day a movie will be made, like there was one about Oksana Baiul and her difficulties before winning the Olympics.

Thank you for the find, great detective work. It's Masaru's cousin (according to the video description), the puppy is too young to be from the same litter. Masaru's brother, who was presented alongside her in Japan, was given to the Odate Prefecture (at least that was what was mentioned back then).

Since she is hanging out with the younger skaters in the training camp that very well could be. Philippine skaters come to Sambo for training camps, right? Maybe Sabina is there in training camp (trial) mode?

Probably, Sabina should go trough some test, because Sambo70 is not a private school ,
Sabina must meet a certain level, to be a part of the team

By the way i'm new here as i had been lurking for months without posting. I was very impressed by Alina after the Grand Prix Final and i'm super excited to see her grow. I'm counting days until we see her short program at The Ice already.

I've been thinking about the sp lately and I wanted to speculate about how I think it will be just for fun. First I believe they'll use the Phantasia suite, which is only instrumental and has a beautiful violin, that we've seen complements Alina's skating and maybe skating in general very well. I also think they'll use at least three pieces, and that it will be similar to the idea of the black swan of starting light and melodic and then turning dark. I'm really excited to see what they'll choose to do, this is only my opinion.

I also wonder if considering the change of rules they'll change completely the construction of the programs.
