2018-19 Russian Ladies' figure skating

So, hypothetically as we don‘t get the assingnments till I don‘t know when, how big of a chance is there that one of our three favourite youngsters will go to the JGP in Austria?
big. :scratch2:my guess RusFed/team will try to sent them to a different stages.
so .... one of them should go to Austria for sure.

An only question is, in what order will they take the pedestal 🤣🤣. Alexandra, Alena, Anna. It's "The A" in every way.

That's why they can be called The A-Team :)

As for comparing them to the seniors we can only estimate, with little help judging by Alina and now Daria. I'm pretty curious how Daria will be doing in seniors.

Theoretically you could have The Super A-Team and a 100% Russian JGP Final with Alexandra Trusova, Alena Kostornaya, Anna Shcherbakova, Annastasia Tarakanova, Anna Tarusina, and Alena Kanysheva (with Anastasia Kostyuk and Anastasia Gulyakova as alternates)

and Anastasia Gubanova could be another alternate

"... you can‘t really compare a grown man to a little girl pre-puberty. ... really, no man would like to be compared to a thirteen year old girl. Doesn‘t seem fair to me."

deep philosophical reflections

There is no definition of "male/female" quads/three-turn jumps as well as any definition of "male/female" combos and cascades in ISU rules. Perhaps for the viewers to assess&compare 13 y.o. girl vs. 18+ men Quad is difficult. Thank to God there are judges. That's what they were doing at JWC 2018.

Moreover, men were performing quads voluntarily and came to the competition without being afraid of unfair judgements including spectators'. They achieved points according to the result shown at that time in that place.

With a sense of humiliation from higher results of rivals it is better not to come to sports. It's just that the girls of other coaches can not yet boast of the Tutberidze girls success. ... the only way is to train better. Btw, there are about 50 men who jump high above 2 m in the world. Should everyone else experience humiliation from the women's world record of 2.08 m?

I think the comparison between senior men and junior girls is fair, and its even fair to use it to shame senior men and praise the girls.
Not because male/female or junior/senior.

But because:
1. Junior girls have 1 jumping pass less than senior men (2 jumping passes less till the last season, if i am not mistaken).
2. Senior men have a PCs multipler of 1 in SP and 2 in FS, while junior girls have 0.8 in SP and 1.6 in FS

If with such advantage, a top senior man manages to bomb so bad that he scores less than a junior girl, thats some well deserved shame on him.
On the other hand, if with such disadvantage, a junior girl manages to score more than a top senior man, she is doing really well, and deserves praise.

a ha-ha, i love it when deep philosophical reflections can be explaned so easy... based on reasonable life experience

Well, I get what you‘re saying but the thing is - if a senior man bombs so hard that his scores end up worse than those of a junior girl (even though said junior girl did exceptionally well) he must feel pretty bad already, like downright terrible. And to shame him then when he‘s already feeling embarrassed or like he‘s letting the team down (in the team event like Misha)... isn‘t very nice. I think you can praise the junior girls who achieve this incredible feat using other ways than putting people down who already feel bad enough about their failure.
