Denis Ten

What moron would stab someone because of the fuсking mirrors. I hope he'll get what he deserves.

Denis has always been a true fighter.

I suddenly feel very guilty and remorseful for every criticism an negative word I ever typed about him.

I'm sure the ice is fresh and they await him at the great rink in the sky. But he is early there. It was too soon.

I just saw TSL's post saying that he had passed away, and I was completely shocked. Now that I have learned more about what happened, it is even worse than I had imagined. What a terrible, terrible shame - a loss of a young, successful person with such a bright future ahead of him, and all for such a petty (for lack of a better word) reason... :( My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

i'm in shock...how horrible. praying for his family and his attackers to be brought to justice. RIP denis.

Oh my God. This is unbelievable and so so unfair. Rest in peace Denis, you brought us so much joy!

This is some of the most saddening news that I have ever heard in my entire time as a skating fan.
There is now a gaping hole in the hearts of many skating fans including myself.
We as skating fans will, and must never forget Denis Ten.

I....lost words. What a cruel world we live in. He had such a hard time these past seasons, struggling with injuries and now this happened and his life got taken away just like that...

Oh no, how absolutely terrible. Vale Denis. Thinking of his family and everyone who loved him.

This so horrible I feel such terrible grief - I follow him on Instagram and he literally just posted a few hours ago it doesn’t feel real

This is too heartbreaking. I can't even begin to imagine what his poor parents must be feeling at the moment:(.
What a devastating loss...

For his family, his friends, skating and winter sports in Kazakhstan.

He has given so much back to his country...and so many of us looked forward to many years of his promoting skating in his home country...

I believe that the global skating community will join with Kazakhstan in grieving his shortened life.

Very sorry for all of his family & friends of course, and for Kazakhstan who lost their greatest skating star. He did so much for the sport in their country - now what?

25 and not even retired yet. It's got to weigh heavily on all the other active skaters who knew him well, too. Puts the petty stuff in perspective though, hopefully...

So, so sad. RIP Denis Ten.

I'll never understand how there can be people such as these in this world.

I am finding this very humbling and sobering, because I am also 25 years old.

We don't really get to choose the perils and trials that lie ahead of us, but we must remember, that as human beings, we need to live everyday to the fullest, and not regret anything. To appreciate and love the small things in our lives, as well as the big moments.
Death is a scary topic to contemplate, because it's painful to think about, and we don't like feeling pain. But it forces us puts things our lives into correct perspective doesn't it?

Rest in peace, Denis. :sad21::sad21::sad21:
This is so messed up. I can't believe it.

I am older than Denis. Denis is gone and I am here. They are not supposed to be burying people younger than me.
