Well Alena already has higher PCS than Sasha in the free skating at 2017 JGPF and 2018 WJC especially the latter when Sasha successfully landed two quads and Alena didn't even have 3A, so I guess the difficulties do not necessarily reflect the PCS.
For short programs, I think Sasha and Alena both have reasons to get the higher PCS, I agree Sasha doesn't have the maturity that Alena has for now, but something in her performance really impressed me, and I think Sasha also has the artistry that we should not overlook, that's something very special and different from Alena's artistry, for me they are equally outstanding in their ages and both are very impressive performers, much more superior than the rest of the field.
I agree that they‘re both outstanding. Sasha is a little firecracker and she‘s full of energy but I don‘t see much of a connection to the music yet. She is powerful and racing across the ice and you can see her excitement but it just looks like she‘s focused on fulfilling her task, on landing her jumps (which I seriously can‘t blame her for, these quads are crazily scary) and complete the routine successfully instead of really ”feeling“ the music. She has good skating skills and she‘s very, very young and no one can deny that what she‘s doing is breathtakingly dangerous yet brilliant but I‘d just like to see her improve in this department as well. It doesn‘t mean she has to skate like Anna or Alena who are more of the lyrical type of skaters. I think she‘s more like Alina, suited for dramatic, powerful pieces of music. But just like Alina in the beginning (and still, though she did improve considerably) she‘s not that connected to what she‘s skating to, yet. She is all in all a 13 year old girl on the ice who achieves technical brilliance. But if she grows up and her team helps her work on the artistic side of her skating as well as the technical, she‘ll be truly unstoppable.
