I just woke up (not a morning person) and I was overwhelmed by all the news! our Prince looks so beautiful in all these photos :luv17: I don’t know what to think about the new costume, especially as we don’t know if it is the final one...if you remove that cape I think it looks good though and purple is a good choice for him.
I can’t wait to see the full show!!

Three things to remember about his program debuts:
1) Don't fret about the costume. So far he has never worn the "for real" costume when he debuted a program at an ice show. Can't wait to see what Satomi Ito comes up with! Don't like the wings too much.
2) He adds bits and pieces of choreography and tech as the season goes along.
3) Once he becomes more comfortable with the choreo, he can work on his expression more.

When I look at these photos we have so far, he seems as if he is really throwing himself into the choreo. I assumed he would use movements 1 & 3 and am SO happy it was confirmed that he is!

I'm SO happy to hear this. These ice show debuts push him to get the program into shape, even if it is just the framework of the program. Then he can continue to improve it. Skating it under spotlights and on a (sometimes) smaller rink can be challenging, I'm sure. Keep working hard Shomita!
