Creative, unique and sometimes funny. I like his skating style very much :luv17:. (In the 3rd video, the female commentator said she talked to him in English, and his most favorite thing/place in Japan was Akihabara for electrical products. lol)

I think it’s annoying we don’t see shoot the duck in major competitions!

Last one (shoot the duck) I remember was Nancy Kerrigan doing one into a double lutz. Very impressive and powerful. She also had some different arm positions on the lutz. I have never seen anyone do the foldovers from camel to sitspin in her combo spins either. I think some of her uniqueness is under appreciated. For that reason I chose this link from 1992 Olympics with Barb Underhill & Paul Martini of Canada doing commentary.

I don’t think I can go past Shizuka’s layback ina baur

Shizuka definitely has the best Ina Bauer. I used to love doing this move and looked at the top of the boards upside down as I skated it down the ice. Very hard to practice on busy sessions and in program run thrus.

I have to add that incredible sit spin from Denis Vasilievs:

And I love Aljona's and Bruno's windmill move and ending pose

I love the infinity pose, especially since it is a sideways figure eight.

Roz Sumners's inside edge ina bauer into 2axel.

The Hamill's Camel.

Linda Fratianne's cannonball sit spin.

Robin Cousin's delayed axel.

Sonja Henie running on her toe-picks.

Toller Cranston's broken leg sit spin.

Peggy Fleming's spread eagle-2axel-spread eagle.

I believe Linda's position is actually known as the Fratianne sitspin https://youtu.be/sNKj9H77mJA

Jill Trenary: One-foot Axel-3S
Midori Ito: Spread Eagle into 3Lo
Tonya Harding: That deep pivoting with one foot (don't know exactly how it's termed)
Michelle Kwan and Satoko Miyahara: Spinning in the opposite direction
Sasha Cohen: Sasha Curl
Sarah Hughes and Angela Nikodinov: Layback Spin
Yuna Kim: 3Lz/3F-3T and 2A-3T in LP, which was arguably popularized by herself and has become the general standard among top ladies
Mao Asada: -2Lo-2Lo combos

Jill Trenary also had a split jump - triple toe - falling leaf combo https://youtu.be/HjM1MMQTqFc

And who remembers the Colorado wiggle...at about 1:10 https://youtu.be/8MqqEmxAQ_c

I agree that Nancy Kerrigan is VERY underappreciated.

Unfortunately sometimes I have been guilty of that myself.

I have her 1992 Olympics LP on tape, but I never saw the SP before - a very lovely program - one of her best, from what I have seen.

I wish she had been able to have the extra 2 years to grow into her role as the USA's next "Ice Queen" after Kristi won the Olympics.

It almost felt like she was being "pushed" too much and too soon in the run-up to 1994.

And of course the whole "Tonya-Nancy affair" and her untimely remarks after the 1994 Olympics kinda defined her for a while.

Tara Lipinski's Triple Loop-Triple Loop

I know that Caroline Zhang attempted (landed?) one at Nationals - but I can't really recall any skaters other than Tara performing it in competition???

I think Caroline landed it at 2012 4CC.

Are you referring to just ladies? Eric Millot did it frequently in the 90s.

Don't know if this been mentioned here...US Caroline Zhang and her "pearl" spin (back then when she was skating in junior rank) is one of the unique and beautiful spins I could remember in figure skating.
