I also agree that Shoma is actually such a joker once he's comfortable. I remember one clip from Japan national a few years back where he was sitting next to Ryuju and someone else and he was just chattering away and everyone was laughing to what he said, even Mihoko and one jsf lady on the background were laughing as well.

Shoma was giving a humorous account about his LP, popping his first quad, trying again and popping it again. Ryuju and Mura (Sota was there too) were giving him advice on other jump combos he could have done to make up for it and Shoma said he had thought of this and that but was afraid to pop the quad AND fall on the Lutz (Fluffy laughs here). The laugh 3:30 was Ryuju saying “why do you insist so much on including the Lutz (when you hate it?)” and Shoma replied “because it gives high score....”
They were all having such fun. Such relaxed atmosphere in the otherwise very tense Nationals.
...wait he popped two quads and still came in Second to Yuzu??

lol he popped his 1st quad, did his second and then took out his 2Aeu3F to try to do 4Teu3F (as you do) but popped again. Everyone was a mess at that competition tho.

Btw, Shoma checked all the quotes and even suggested some quotes to print on calendar.
According to the interview w/ the publisher above, there will be a quote and pic used when Shoma was 11 years old (the publisher said it's a secret one? now people in tweeter are guessing what the quote will be) <- Let's guess what the "secret quote" is!

I meant to say, Yuzu got his John Wilson’s because he “did not want silver”,
(he said so in his Continues with Wings ice show which was broadcasted)
