I noticed that, too. At least Yulia's thread has become the first to break the 1000 pages mark for a lady skater before it was surpassed. Zhenia's thread was about to overtake when suddenly the layout was changed from 15 to 10 entries per page. Both threads jumped over the mark but Yulia was still in the lead, making her technically the first. A historic record she cannot lose.
If justice be done they should be on first-name terms by now.If Yulia knew that you are the gatekeeper of her thread, she'd probably send you a thank you-card.

I can't see it.
Seeing Shelepen at Test Skates made me wonder if we will see Yulia there, as a coach, in a few years. I'd love to see her become a big name coach!

Agreed. She was always good at expressing, and with Megapolis she matured as an interpreter, sometimes philosophical, sometimes stylistic. As a parody on American pop culture, Elvis is a hilarious mix of dance styles of the 50's. That, along with Autumn Leaves, showed me that Yulia could turn whatever she liked into gold.

But Carmen and Romeo and Juliet are the definition of warhorses. And Kill Bill and Romeo and Juliet fit Trusova and Kostornaya perfectly so I don‘t think there are any relations to Yulia. We‘ll see how Carmen matches Zagitova once she‘s skated it in competition but I don‘t think this has anything to do with Yulia at all.
Btw: Might sound like a dumb question but when did Yulia skate to Carmen? I remember the Nutcracker from juniors but her Carmen program must have slipped my mind... Oops.
Ok: I found it. I usually don‘t like Carmen too much but I love Yulia‘s hands in this performance. :luv17:
