Yeah, she should be safe. Even if Vasilieva has a great preformance, I imagine it'd be Anna Tarusina instead of Anastasia Tarakanova who would end up getting replaced.

There are three JGP events left, so there are 6 entries for russian girls. If we put Alëna Kostornaia and Sasha Trusova aside, we have still 4 entries for all russian girls who skated already. So it should be logical, that Anna Tarusina, Alëna Kanysheva, Ksenia Sinitsina and Nastya Tarakanova will all receive second entry. I know, there is Vasilieva still.

I highly doubt they would give a 2nd event to a bronze medalist, so, unless heavily pushed by political reasons Ksenia isn't going to get a 2nd event.

Based on results one would think so but as we have seen the results aren't the only factors here. I am kind of thinking that the Fed wants to give Tarusina a 2nd event and that is why she is at the 6th event with Tarakanova and not at the 7th event. If Vika would do great this week then I am thinking she would more likely replace Kanysheva at the 7th event rather than Tarusina at the 6th event. This is despite the fact that she scored better than either Tarusina or Tarakanova.

Since Tarakanova has been assigned now I am pretty sure she is safe. The battle is between Tarusina, Kanysheva and Vasilieva.
