I'm off to Ostrava, hoping to see a change from sad ice princess to beautiful smiling Juliet, hoping to see 2 Russian girls on the podium, hoping to see beautiful performances from Ting, Yelim and all other girls, although I'll probably see only last 3 groups.. if I see Ted, I'll ask him to say hello to all fans here.. ;):cheer:

So jealous! I wish I was there.

If you see Neil Wilson (Canadian coach Joanne McLeod's right hand man), tell him that a guy from Cookstown told you to say "Hello" to him! (Like me, Neil is from Northern Ireland).

Hope you enjoy yourself!

Since there are motorbikes on Eurosport all day until 5pm, rather than record them I am going to watch the bikes LIVE. So, only going to be here for the first group.

Here is the livestream (starts in 4 minutes):

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZHi9UqSTPg

Here is the Time Schedule:

http://www.isuresults.com/results/season1819/jgpcze2018/jgpcze2018_JuniorLadies_FS_TimeSchedule.pdf

And here is the live scoring:

Hope this helps

Whoops...I thought the men were skating first, turns out to be ladies! That's exciting. I've all ready seen some polkadots in the first group ;)

Morgane is first, and gets top points for a fabulous name and an awesome costume!

You go girl!

Yep.

And Giorgia has an absolutely beautiful blue dress (which we saw VERY close up when she went across in front of the camera when it was zoomed in on somebody else! :p  ).

Awww I missed that - I'm cooking dinner right now and had to check on my spaghetti mince.

Morgane also has a lovely sparklely belt! :)

In other news, I wonder if Ted will read out my email! Probably not...but it'd be fun if he did!

Tango Amore from Angela! Quality song choice!

(Someone dissed this song the other day and I was like "Oh no y'didn't!")

Nice costume too, although I can't get behind the stirrup leggings look...

Good start to the competition from Moroccan girl Morgane.

And now Plushenko music for Andorran girl Angela.

Hope you're enjoying it, anonymoose_au ;)

I am, I am!

Bit of a rough skate for poor Angela, but Ted is giving good advice - of course! - she's young though, so with any luck she'll improve and get her triples.

I think Angela was getting tired during the second half of that programme.

Perhaps the fall at the very start didn't help.

She looks disappointed coming off the ice.

Awww I missed that - I'm cooking dinner right now and had to check on my spaghetti mince.

You don't have long to wait, she's up next.

In other news, I wonder if Ted will read out my email! Probably not...but it'd be fun if he did!

I sent him 2 e-mails this morning. And I am now nervous that he'll use anything from them!

Yeah :( On the plus side it was a seasons best, so improved from the last outing!

It's very pretty! I like the little flower detail on it. The gloves are a nice touch.

I'm sure you wrote some great stuff  I feel like mine came off like someone half my age wrote it.

It's easier to see today because she wasn't so nervous, but Giorgia has some nice lines in her steps and spins.

So jealous! I wish I was there.

If you see Neil Wilson (Canadian coach Joanne McLeod's right hand man), tell him that a guy from Cookstown told you to say "Hello" to him! (Like me, Neil is from Northern Ireland).

Hope you enjoy yourself!

I didn't go.. :sad4: That stupid bus had an "at least 90 minutes" delay I would arrive maybe like 30 mintues before the end of ladies FS.... and I wouldn't be able to see victory ceremony anyway... Well, I had my doubts after thursday's weird results anyway, so I took it like hand of fate, at least I'll be able to watch more skaters like this...

D'aww that kid with with Giorgia's coach in the Kiss and Cry - Ted certainly found it amusing!

Polkadots in da house!

Oh that's a shame! Dang public transport.

But yes I hope the Russia girls kick butt today! I'm sure they will.

 :jaw:

Ted has used the first e-mail. That was me that told him about Giorgia's back injury.

It's easier to see today because she wasn't so nervous, but Giorgia has some nice lines in her steps and spins.

Yep, now that she has got the pressure of doing her first routine at this level out of the way, it has made all the difference. That was a beautiful skate.

There was one landing where it looked like she was going to fall backwards, and I had my heart in my mouth. But, thankfully she regained her balance.

She was happy in the kiss and cry. And she had every reason to be!

:cheer: WELL DONE GIORGIA!!! :cheer:

I thought that was lovely Petra bringing her son in to get the results with her. This is a home competition for Petra, so this would have been lovely for her family and friends here in the Czech Republic that don't get to see him that often. Just a pity that the wee fella was asleep!

Hana has really lovely spins and her costume with headpiece is very classy and Juliet-like :)
