- It's not the first time in Yerevan, I was at the opening of this rink, where we performed. We were met very warmly and hospitably. I knew we'd be greeted like this. Yerevan, Armenia, let's say, opened before us their warm hugs, smile and joy!
The people I was telling my name when I was on the list or getting accredited were asking "Oh, what are you, Armenian?" I answered: “Yes.” It was very funny.
A lot of spectators came to performances of all kinds, namely the spectators who came to watch, and not the figure skaters who had already performed (laughs). Although figure skating is not popular in Armenia, people are very interested in this kind of sport. It was also noticed somewhere in 2015 at the opening of the rink.
Before the warm-up and skate, I was very much supported, which made me very cheerful, but my excitement did not go away. When, before the start, they shouted “Artur!” and clapped, I wanted to smile, laugh, but I was serious and tuned in for my skate! After the skate, was interviewed, took pictures, wished good luck and supported. It was very nice (it was all before and after the short program was).

I was very glad to see them, especially after not the most successful skate. The short program was skated very badly and dirty. “Butterfly” is the most unfortunate thing that could happen, it is better to fall, but not a “butterfly” and I should have skated 100 percent. I hope this was the first and last "butterfly" this season, and indeed! Skated somehow without mood, or not very, in general.
I went out for the free program more calmly, I knew that it is necessary to skate with pleasure and to submit the program in all glory, with emotions. Perform 100 percent, and then 200! There were many mistakes, skated very carefully. I made the first axel with an underrotation, combo with a touch down of my hand, the chain broke, doubled the flip.
In a word, there is still a lot of work on errors, and just work.
I would like to express my deep gratitude to all my coaching staff, the Russian Federation of Figure Skating, which gave me the opportunity to speak at the second stage of the season for myself, as well as to all the people who supported and was worried for me! Not a disaster by any means. They went home and fixed his steps so that's something. I didn't think it went with the music towards the end like the one last week but who cares as long as he gets the level 
Still on the fence about this SP. He's so introverted and I don't know if I'm buying what he's selling but that's alright, it's always good for skaters to try new styles and images. I'm looking forward to his FP which I think is great. Hopefully he can leave Yerevan with a skate he can be proud of.
