Scary. I worry about concussions. He's tough, but that knocked the wind out of him. Totally stunned with all the clean skates by others. Beautiful! He doesn't have to play hero, but I'd certainly rather see him get gold. Demi-san probably has some work to do tonight.

I had the same worry about a concussion, really just hoping he's okay right now. That fall was scary :( I did see on twitter that he told Mihoko-sensei he was fine, but it can't hurt to get checked by a doctor if possible.

I will say that quad flip looked beautiful though :) hope Shoma can rest well tonight, and not put too much pressure on himself for tomorrow
 
He really got the wind knocked out of him, and it took some of the fire out of the performance, understandably. I have total amnesia right now and can barely remember anything. My note I put with my gift I threw on the ice said "Thank you for your beautiful skating." That still stands. Wow, he's human. Our little warrior -- be well! Anxious to hear the press conference!
 
Oh no. Shoma short is my favorite program this season. I was hoping he kill it. I worried more about the long. Now Ugh. Hopefully I get my dream short at NHK then.

When I saw that fall, I practically stopped breathing and my heart stopped, but since he is a fighter, he got up and finished the program.

We all have bad days, the key is to learn from them and move forward. Tomorrow is another day and our brave warrior will move on. Sending him good vibes and wishing the best for him!

Skaters fall but that was a hard scary fall. Overall Shomita did a good job can’t be perfect all the time. Get a good nights rest Sho and be ready to Bulldoze and Dazzle the FS tomorrow Go Shoma!
 
I didnt see the competition, but to see the protocols is heartbreaking... Anything wrong with ice? Please stay healthy, skaters!

Here's a link to SP. That didn't really go according to plan but I'm still proud of him. Bad days happen. And it's not like the skate was a total trainwreck! That flip was a beauty! I hope he's not being too harsh on himself. He can be a little bit harsh to get fuel for the FS :)

Thank you! It's the first time for me to see his SP, but it's cool! To ditch the rhythm with music is difficult. And the body movement at step sequence as the commentator says!

I tried to listen to their conversation, but the volume is small. About 3A, he seems to say that he was upset all the more because he had not failed there so much, leading to the collision to the bar...

I havent got his comment so far, but i think he is optimistic towards FP. His condition itself seems good and blades were smooth.

Ice seemed fine, and I have to say after watching the fall on video, I actually feel a little bit better. It was harder to see when it was on the opposite side of the arena, and to us it really looked like he hit his head, which he didn't. It was a bad fall, but he still seemed to recover rather quickly. Still, never a fun thing to do...Fight on in the FS! :pray: :ghug:
 
The fall on the 3A was like a dagger to the heart . It looked like it was going to be so glorious as well ��
