Yuzu was so cute at the press conference. Poor thing just looked like he wanted to go rest, though, but they just kept asking him questions.

And I don't know whom I felt worse for when that person asked if the others thought the 4T+3A was hard: Michal and Junhwan for basically having to answer, "How does it feel not to be Yuzuru Hanyu?" or Yuzu himself for having to sit there and listen.

OMG I barely have time to breathe this weekend. I’m so glad he broke the silver curse and finally got well deserved gold at his first GP. Let get all gold in every competition!

Wow watching Yuzu's ex live was about one of the most amazing moments of my life , even more so than the two world records. Honestly the TV broadcast does not do it justice at all, there are a lot of still and silent moments which he uses to fill up the whole stadium with his incredible emotions and aura , which unfortunately have to be felt on the spot and not through a screen. Even putting my fan bias aside the world he created was far and beyond all the other skaters, you can just feel the whole stadium was stunned after the performance.

World record hattrick in the first GP of the season. Not bad

Yuzu's fighting spirit is unlimited, aye? He changed 5 of 7 jumping passes and... nailed them all. Three of them were a bit shaky or underrotated, but NO FALLS, NO POPS, NO EDGE CALL on the Flip :agree: and he seemed to fire up after every single jump. That cascade of combos at the end was jawdropping. Much better than the previous layout in my opinion.

The spin practice paid off, too. LV4 across the board. (The return of the butt-spin though... *sigh*)
Next on Yuzu's checklist: LV4 step sequence

Just one thing that bothered me: the (more or less) rhythmical clapping of the crowd during Origin. The music of the step sequence is so awesome, but the clapping somehow destroyed the magic. Don't know why... Anyone else, too?
