YES!! Unless they want to do another season like the concussion one, I think they should go to competitions if they physically can. It's really a bummer that they have to miss the GPF, but I do feel that unless they benefit more from rest, they should keep some kind of a competition season going. Being with a real audience is always special, no matter at what occasion. What a shame this WD at NHK. First of all Guillaume's speedy recovery remains the most important.
With this injury they will not go to GPF. There will be this season only 3 (instead of 5) international competitions where we can admire them (IdF, Euro, World).
And why not join the CS Golden Spin of Zagreb?
Same dates as the GPF, in Europe where they will stay after for the French Championship the following week.
It is of course less attractive, less glorious, but it is a good opportunity to develop their season, to share their art and their class with their audience and their fans.
Maybe it's a little selfish of me to think about it, to be able to see them one more time... Maybe it's interesting for them - in compensation - to animate their season without too much time or extra miles constraints.
Your opinion ?
Huh? Yow. Rachel and Michael Parsons have a Free Dance that quite asks a question. (Reminiscent of which program did you say, Roast Toast?)
I'm very doubtful about my answer. My first reply is another question: "why?"

And what to think of Kaitlin Hawayek and Jean-Luc Baker's program?
Ooooohhhh... Reminiscent of who exactly? Hmmmmmm... Who do we want to be...?![]()

I felt a bit depressed after listening to Duet, it's such a snoose, the slowest song ever written in the history of music, I think!Do they want to put the judges and audience to sleep? I kept thinking, how can they see this as a change, experiment or challenge? It suits their EX programs style better, which have always been pretty underwhelming IMHO.
Did anyone guess these? I definitely saw Duet being put forward before, but maybe that was on FSU. Anyway, Sunday Afternoon is a nice surprise. I like the mood of these pieces and I think we might be getting an FD reminiscent of To Build a Home.
Little extract from the IFS magazine article. It's in Russian but the google translation is all right: https://m.sports.ru/amp/post/2243780/?__twitter_impression=true
Interesting quotes about their new work, Lambiel, how Hagenauer doesn't think they have picked yet.
