Alina Zagitova

OMG I try to post so nice post about Alina like 10 times, all words are correct and it's impossible to send it, because GS somehow block any of my word as a censured one? Come on? ..

So I just hope Alina will shine tomorrow, it can be huge confident buster for her. It's probably very very importand competition for her as it is in Moscow. I know she feel it, she wanna prove everybody she deserve and show them the best skate, she is very sensitive girl. So I pray for her the best skate she can delivered. I just wanna see her smile and happy face on the ice after her performance and in Kiss & Cry. :)

Just some advice because I suffered from intense frustration of not being able to send my posts: If you want to write something about those (bleep  )people that say bad things about Alina, don‘t call them by what they are because this word is being blocked by Goldenskate. Hater.s must not be named or something. A bit silly as hate can still be spelled normally but well...

About the second part: Agree wholeheartedly. Hoping to see a happy, smiling and proud Alina in the K&C !! :)

I am so anxious! I am here watching Alina's DQ - the Olympics performance, my universal anxiety medicine

For some reason I thought that the short program today, I prepared dinner, locked cats in another room,
wife and children walk in the city, ready to watch and boom, only tomorrow... disappointment

I somehow relate to this...today, the entire day at work I thought it's Friday and I was all happy because the weekend is coming, Alina is competing, it was like all the stars were aligned for our happiness. And then...when I realised it's only Thursday...:palmf::palmf:

Just seeing her miss the first loop and then adding it later to her second lutz is like... okay, she handled that, she‘ll handle tomorrow too!!

Honestly, Alina is so far ahead of the field that she can easily make mistakes and still win. The thing is, Alina does not want that at all. She wants to win, yes, but most of all she wants to skate clean and deliver a great performance. That‘s why even though I‘m not worried about her winning, I‘m still a bit anxious every time I watch her take the ice because I know she herself will accept nothing but perfection.

Can you repeat the process again tommorrow, or will the family and cats have other plans for you?

Thanks. But there was nothing negative. I just write about social sites and negative comments, that's it's nice to hear from Eteri that she learn from coached Julia that she cannot prohibit her the internet. It's nice to see that coach is able to learn from previous situations too. She is very good coach! So I don't know what was wrong exactly, I only appreciate Eteri. But ok. :D :D (hope this time I will be able to post it)

Alinka fans attacking Trankov in IG , they drives him crazy
because he said — we ,Russian athletes , do not support Alina during Olympic, all of us cheering for EM

He had it coming :dev2:

Seriously, he had to know that wasn't going to end well for him.

This is slightly misleading. Basically journalists asked him why Tukt had said in another interview that (in her opinion) Zhenya had deserved the Olympic Gold Medal. He basically said that, well of course we all rooted for Zhenya (going into the competition) because she had carried the Russian team - i.e. placing well enough to ensure Russia had three spots and going to all the IOC conferences to speak in favour of the Russian athletes....also he points out that it's very difficult/impressive to stay on top for such a long time......BUT that Alina absolutely deserved to win the medal/she had the stronger performance. It seems mostly like the journalist decided to get cut his words to make the most controversial headline.

The full interview is here in Russian and here in English if people are interested in it.

TBH he kind of seems irritated that journalists kept pressing him about Med vs. Zagi. He was there to do an interview about Tarasova/Morozov after all.

And I'm not suprised he's getting angry at "the Alinka fans" on instagram. I've seen comments wishing that his two year old daughter will get cancer floating around.

Read the article. He is very clear about why the Russian Olympic team felt like Zhenya deserved a gold medal for what she'd done in the past BUT also points out that Alina 100% deserved the gold medal based off performances in Peyoncheng.

I know you are trying to be funny but there genuinely people, calling themselves "Alina Fans"/"Alina's defender's" hoping his two year old daughter will die in an incredibly painful way. That is not justified and honestly is not something I would have expected.

BTW I put "Alina Fans" in speech marks because I know Alina would never condone the kind of behaviour these people are showing and she would be horrified if she found out what was being said in her name.

He must think what he says, for Alina, especially now , in difficult time for her, unpleasant to know that all skaters of the Russian national team did not support her and wanted to win another.
reg. bad behavior of fans, I am not support it, but do not throw stones in a glass house

Now? He thinks that people making a mountain out of her problems at test skates/Helsinki are being stupid. She's grown a bit, she has some nerves but that she'll can get through it and will be fine. Honestly he is mostly positive about Alina in this interview, he's just blunt and maybe too honest (but that is what he's always been like).

His comments aren't the main issue here (I thought it was a pretty dull interview tbh). The issue is the way people are responding to it.
