Nathan Chen

So he’s bringing back the 4S. It’s his lesser consistent quad so probably wants to test it out in the competition since he really doesn’t have anything to lose. He’s slowly adding in more content, taking his time to build into his programs. I imagine for the final he’ll add in another quad in the SP, maybe 5 quads in long by Worlds (or he might stick with 4 depending on the competition).

Everyone expects he will add more quad so it is not a big surprise. He planned to bring back 4lo in the begening of season and now he brings back 4S 🤔
I wonder how many quads he wants to add in the final layout (in GPF or World)

Holiday weekend - can actually sleep in for once :p

But will be waking up early Friday and super early Saturday to watch Nathan

Super excited to see him compete again :luv17:

Wonder if Ashley is going to commentate on this competition, would like to hear what she has to say about team Raf’s performances.

Some of those pops looked intentional, which is odd. I wonder what the issue is.

All of these interviews Raf is giving make it seem like he is lobbying for Nathan to set school aside.

I thought the same thing - but he doesn't normally practice that way so IDK. Also, I questioned putting the 4s first so if he's struggling that much with it hopefully they'll switch things around.

I have noticed that sometimes he starts with fewer rotations and builds to the quads, but I have never seen him do that in a run through. He is not usually a popper. He rotates and falls (the only exception is the triple axel).

Hope Nathan is feeling ok ...

Yale - ‘The family decided so’. I’m not under the impression that Raf is lobbying for Nathan to set school aside. Raf just tells it like it is: ‘I just tell the truth: I call white white, and black black.’

Coaching long distance via Skype, though Nathan said FaceTime - must be super challenging for them both.
