Somebody on twitter called Samarin the Bradie Tennell of the Russian men and I can't stop thinking about it:
- Aliev is Angela Wang :sad21:
- Kolyada is Karen Chen
- Voronov is like an uncle version of Mariah Bell low tech but endless charisma and outperforming all of his compatriots this season
- Gumennik is Alysa Liu, ready to snatch that podium at senior nationals
- Kovtun is Gracie Gold, but with a more successful comeback
