Giada Russo

2018 European Championships:

SP: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQbKU3vW9gE
FS: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=huBWgwnPIFI

After some problems in the short program (still very beautiful performance) Giada made sort of comeback in the free skating. Well done, Giada! And the next stop are the Olympics. By the way I don't understand why the tech panel called only 1A... For me maybe there was a 2A< or even <<, but not an 1A...

And Giada recieved 7-s in the PCS for Performance and Interpretation from Adrienn Schadenbauer (7.00 for TR,CO,IN) and Attila Soos (7.50 for IN) in SP and from Francoise de Rapard (7.00 for IN) and Attila Soos (7.00 for CO, 7.25 for PE,IN) in FS.

There was a rumor, when the season started, that Giada will be changing discipline, going to dance.

Giada has started to training some weeks ago at the Milan's Agorà, with Jaime García Morcuende, a spanish skater. Their debut was a rhythm dance skated at Rome, on the second national and regional competition of dance (no video).
They was scored (51.31), but they are not into the pdf/scores page of the event. It seem that Jaime is waiting to be released from the spanish's fed, but this is a rumor.
Anyway, Giada is still representing the Ice Club of Turin and his coaching team is Paola Mezzadri, Matteo Zanni and Barbara Riboldi, like the other dance's pairs of the Agorà.

Many thanks for the most interesting news! I suppose it makes sense for Giada the jumps being her weakest elements, yet I was hoping that with a help of jump specialist and the opening in Italian field she could really go places
Well the best of luck Giada, I know you will dazzle us with your programs in no time

Thanks

When i have searched i haven't found official sources on that, so i was still doubting, even if it was likely.

I only came to this thread to discover Giada has switched to ice dance!
It looks like she just switched recently? There is a long way to go, but she and Jamie are both very young and full of potentials. Good luck! :)
