Hi, my dear friends, I am so eager to watch the GPF already... the Vancouver time zone is not optimal for Europe but I will do my best to watch Alina live...

I have 3 exams this Monday I rarely have I been less prepared, I don't know how I will follow the GP and do well, no idea. But I want to keep track on the ladies, at least... Sometimes I wonder why I chose medicine and not sports journalism - I could be like Tatjana Flade, going to the coolest figure skating events instead of stuDYING and trying to keep up with the competitions somehow. :dev2:

And I am so excited for Alina, I am so happy that she did her practice well and hope she will slay at the competition! Today, instead of studying, of course, I was watching videos of her from 2013 and 2014 and thought how adorable and determined she is to succeed... and today she is the leading lady and favourite for the Grand Prix Final, who would have thought?

I just want to hug her and wish her performances she is proud of!

I'm outside of NYC (the USA even) so time zone for me just got a whole lot of crazy too. It'll be 3am here.

I was debating what do to but I think I know myself well enough by now so I'll try my all to find a stream and tomorrow will be zombie Friday.

But for Alina, the girl who gives her everything to all the things she does in her life, I couldn't give anything but my all.

I‘ll watch it, too and my alarm clock is already set as well. Seniors is fortunately doable at 6 a.m, juniors... not. Luckily Alina is looking great and confident, I doubt my poor nerves would survive too much anxiety about her performance this early in the morning. But looking at this runthrough as well as yesterday‘s... “clean as a whistle“ Everything. The 3Lz-3Lo looking more assured than ever this season. And that with her growth spurt. Alina, we love you but you are insane! How hard she must be working, I can‘t even imagine it. Tough girl!! Slay it tomorrow and just be yourself, just be happy and confident. I totally applaud your fiancée for sharing your love for figure skating and supporting you so much. I don‘t know him at all but from that I can already tell that he must be a great man! And proposing on the ice, could there be a better moment? I hope you are really, really happy and this is like a personal Olympic Gold Medal for you! I think it's the same, just different light here.
In Helsinki I watched her live and at the warm-up, I thought the same because the dress was really sparkling even from a distance.
