I'm missing so much of the ladies' competition trying to hand wash a nearly identical fluffy pink coat which is very dingy, help, what stage shomatitis is this?

Fuuuh, that was tense.

Not Shoma's best for the SP but it's not that bad either aside from the flip and the doubled 3T, I agree with his press conference analysis that he was able to make a performance out of the program. Shoma's analysis on himself is harsh (he sounds so dissapointed, I want to hug him :( ) but I agree with his overview. I think it's more mentally challenging that Shoma's consciously taken the responsibility to become a skater who wants to meet everyone's expectations this season, but he's decided to fully tackle this challenge, and I believe that he'll come out stronger.

I'm intrigued by the new SP layout.. I'm trying to look for a video without music sync issues because the one I found on Youtube has it and it's so distracting! I wonder if it's to get better timing for the jumping passes, but also the new layout feels more... interactive with the crowd?

Give your best performance in the free Shoma! I believe in you.

Schedule for the FS tomorrow has came out, the Moonlight Prince is skating last.

Wishing for Shoma to finish this GPF strong and with a smile because of a satisfying performance :luv17::luv17::luv17:

Poor Shoma. Hopefully he will channel that disappointment into motivation.

And I think my coat is now well within "if you're close enough to notice that it's not spotless, you're close enough that I have the right to shove you" territory. It is now drying over the heating vent in my bedroom, because who needs heat? It's not going to be that far below freezing tonight.

ahh shame about the errors, but he fought through and still delivered a performance. I really hope Sho won't be too hard on himself, and can give a skate he'll be satisfied and happy with in the free :ghug:  believe in yourself Shoma!

I want Shoma to get the performance his desire. Let pray for the FS, I really hope he go clean and able to get that 200..

SP Review: I am happy he didn't fall or miss his combo eventhough get that under-rotation call for flip, but did Shoma change the some of choreo or he miss it? because I really love all the step that gone. especially the hair sweeping

Shoma Uno + Canada = Gold medal. Let's not break this streak.

I just realised that most of the time Higuchi coach and even Machiko coach not using JSF official jacket. :cool14: With that we get THE pink jacket and others awesome fur jacket that Higuchi coach always sporting.
Both really fashionable, and both also always with long nail and manicure all the time. I support swagger coach. :points:
I think only Marie-France and Eteri can rival both for fashion at rinkside.

Yes, he changed some choreo and I’ve read that even the music cut, I haven’t noticed this when I watched this morning, need to rewatch. I’m really curious why he did that, those wore some of the best parts that he took out. He also was a bit behind the music today, really not the best StH. But I believe he’ll be strong tomorrow I trust his kuyashii

Watching the Prince do his Moonlight run through. He is marking all his jumps but had some good jumps outside the run through. I love the way Raf looks at Sho and Fluffy. I wonder if he secretly speaks Japanese.

Are you sure he is not looking only at Fluffy. No doubt she is a beautiful looking woman!:luv17:

He is intently watching them. Makes me wonder if he's trying to get a feel for their mood. Sometimes it's fun to see the skaters and coaches sizing up the competition. I saw several others doing the same thing...Good point. He could just be checking Fluffy out! Remember, they had their picture taken together one time. Can't remember what competition they were at.

Virtual group hug for Sho for tonight's free skate. :ghug: Come on Shomita! You can do it! The audience is really behind him.

I don't mind the choreo change - I remember in skate canada he got up straightaway and had to do his step sequence after the hard fall on the triple axel. Now he is able to do his sit spin between the 3A and the steps. :)

It looks like all of today's GPF events take place whilst I am asleep :drama:
I look forward to seeing Shoma's lovely FS in the morning :hap10:

Oh no with the choreography change I will never get my imagined short program. I am okay with the hair sweep going away for a much secure 3A but the steps sequence. No No No. May be he will change it back and nail it at national.

What a fight! The pressure must have been insane but he pulled through, today’s performance was absolutely beautiful. Congratulations to Shoma for the 21st podium in a row (?!) I am so proud to be his fan, gold or no gold, it doesn’t make any difference to me. But it does to him so rest well and come back even stronger and more confident in the 2nd half of the season, Shoma!

Congratulations to Shoma for winning the Silver Medal!!!! Even with the jump problems (no falls though yay)
he was fabulous and should be proud of that skate. I always love a gutsy performance from a skater win or lose,
and for me Shoma was the class of the field! I am Dead.:dbana:
