By the 1 1/2 year mark, I will be reading Cyrillic well and good :cool:

For now, I am just relying on a program that translates pages automatically to english. Though invariably, it translates Evgenia to "wife" :laugh:
 
It sounds like Christmas music to me. I don‘t think she‘d get a new SP in the middle of the season just before Nationals. :shocked:

And especially not to a Christmas song. It was clearly “Have yourself a merry little Christmas“ to me too. :laugh:

Yes, I think this is far more likely (though I'll eat my words if she comes to RusNats with a new program...)

It's clearly Christmas music in the background, so I really doubt she has a new program and I think we can safely assume they have added more transitions and more choreography since IDF, especially because there were so many complaints about her "empty, generic" programs...

Again though, obviously I was not in Oakville watching the practice, so I have no special knowledge, only observations from the videos.
 
I just listened to the music in the video again and omg either I am crazy or not but under the Christmas music I really hear Tosca.
 
Any Russian speakers able to translate what Zhenya is saying in her instagram story from today? She is so cute.
 
just waiting for Zhenya, I love those little practice videos, her flow looks so smooth and that 2Axel every time looks better, with very good distance and effortless.


I have no idea if there will be any change, I'm just happy to see her again and know that Brian will accompany her to Russia.
She should just do her job, skate clean, and demonstrate her progress.

I agree that it's more choreography/new transitions! I look forward to seeing Zhenya next week. :)
